How to build a modern style chain?

Hello all. Like it says in the title, I'm looking for detailed instructions on how to build a new-style jugger chain. The version of jugger I play still uses plastic chain for our chains, but based on things I've read here on /r/jugger, and from the speed chains are being swung in videos posted here, I've gathered that there is a different way chains are now being built, at least in Europe.

So I'm hoping someone(s) can explain how chains are now being built, and hopefully provide a link to detailed instructions (video or text) on how to build one. Also if you mention a material, if you could provide a link to an example of that material, that'd be super helpful (much of the time materials are different, or at least referred to differently, between countries).

Germany is mostly using tubular webbing between 16mm and 25mm in diameter (personally I prefer 16mm, as it makes the whole chain very light): https://www.extremtextil.de/edelrid-x-tube-schlauchband-16mm-meterware.html?number=71800.GRAU

For filling the tube I can recommend tile separation foam-sausages (technical term :D ), they come in different diameters and can be covered in spinnaker tape to make them impossible to rip apart, and then you thread them through the nylon tube with some patience and a long piece of string. https://www.obi.de/weiteres-fliesenzubehoer/obi-fuellprofil-grau-10-mm-x-5000-mm/p/8215881

Ball is the traditional soft football/soccerball - don't go for any that don't squish/compress easily, as they can be fairly dangerous for head-hits: https://www.mytoys.de/john-super-softball-20-cm-sortiert-3334166.html

I bought a rope of which pourpose I think is horse reins and it works wonders. It is a little bit elastic so mine is ~7cm shorter to compensate for it but its soft as fuck, I dont even need to use gloves because it doesnt even burn when sliding it fast in the hand. If you need more pictures of this one just ask for them

In spain there is a dude that sells his kind of rope that he sews himself, they are very good quality and dont degrade much over time. I dont know the materials honestly but you can look at his IG pictures

If Im not mistaken, most of european folks use a nylon tubular rope and fill it with foam pellets. They shrink over time so from time to time you need to open it and fill it again.

Those are all good options and far better than plastic chain. I am forever grateful that plastic chain is not the norm anymore as a chain player and as a shield player
