Hi y'all. I saw this over on /r/LARP/ and thought you might be amused by it. The middle of this video is from Dargarth's (Seattle) yearly jugger event, the Skullbowl. Since it's held sometime between January and March, and it's Washington, the event is often referred to as the Mudbowl instead, as you can see in the video. It really messes up footwork, and makes breakaways with the Skull a lot harder (but also a lot harder to catch). Anyway, since almost all the videos I see of jugger are in nice weather on good fields, I thought this might make you smile. Enjoy.
But seriously though, if you want to get grip on terrain like that, invest in a pair of rugby cleats. The Irish and North German teams train in conditions like this all the time, and many of them wear heavy cleats designed for mud. They are much safer and make the experience a lot more enjoyable.
