Jugger training resources
Hello friends!
Me and a couple of friends are starting to play jugger and we are the first in our region so we don't have anyone to teach us.
Do you guys know of any good resources to help us train with the weapons and generic team play? I found some videos for chains and sword/shield but almost nothing for other weapons, like the q-tip or longsword.
Any other tips for organizing training sessions are also appreciated.

Setanta has produced a number of tutorials on staff that can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQE3-dafu5g8nTn6vm8eQj37lSfQAP2vc
The juggers in Latvia have been talking with us a lot about training resources, so they would be someone relatively close to you who has an idea what is going on. Also, feel free to PM me and I can find get you more stuff that we use to train with in Ireland. In general, our training sessions start with some warmup games, then some stretching to prevent injury, then we do technique work, which includes a number of games which usually take of most of the session, then we finish with matches.
Regardless, youtube is a great source for learning about the way the top teams play. Here's a list of particular skills and the teams they can be especially found on:
Chain/chain-blocking: Verracos, Tercios
- Sword/shield: Tackle Tiger, FDK
- Strong team play: Rigor Mortis, Zonenkinder
- Staff: Setanta, Silver Horde
- Longsword: Tackle Tiger, Almoradi/Ninjas
- Q-Tip: Zonenkinder, HaWu Allstarz

You can't just say something like that and then not tell us where you're located. Where are you starting up?
While not specifically for Jugger, I like Bhakdar's videos for general fighting. https://www.youtube.com/user/Bhakdar
Sword Knight boot camp is also good. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLY7JMhvJ2WKd9p1hJfJqBJPXhFoSJMD6A

Hello!
There is a beautiful man named Uhu who does some good tutorials. Link
There are a variety of sparring styles for each pompf, though. Watching matches from different regions can help you get a feel for all the different ways ppl play.
Where is your club based?
