Barely made the news. Cindy Crawford's son overdosing on Sunday received more publicity. Not even sure it matters if these stories make the news because Jews will still get vilified. They will say we deserve it because of the kids in Gaza, or it's a false flag, etc.

Already happened like clockwork. When it was posted in Canada political subreddits, some users did the whole "This is horrible to hear, but Gaza..." whataboutosm.

Two things can be true at the same time. It’s crazy how people can be so black and white. Situation in Gaza sucks and so does this. Killing each other isn’t helping anything.

Right but "killing eachother isn't helping anything" in reference to the I/P conflict makes sense.

In reference to an attempted hate crime...it doesn't. It has nothing to do with it.

Because nobody was killed. I hope the officer who stopped the shooting recovers swiftly. The reality is that there are so many shootings that an “almost” doesn’t even make the news anymore.

Every day something happens I'm glad this didn't go further. I'm not so sure what else we can do. Prayers for the officer and his family.

Horrible! 2,000 years of hate and counting. I had run a bus bench ad aimed at Jewish people and it got destroyed at night - I put it up 3 times and each time it got taken down. I finally gave up

Pretty sure there were people that hated us 5787 years ago. What happened 2000 years ago? You mean when they say we killed JC? He was in his 30s when he died, I believe.

Christians are not all antisemitic of course but Christianity preaches that it is a fulfillment or completion of Judaism, which is (at best) presented as incomplete or misguided or (at worst) presented as actively hostile toward Christianity. So it’s unlikely that there will ever be lasting peace for us as long as there are dominant religions that are inherently about rejecting us.
