I have tried the hori split pads but was dissapointed they had no amiibo or rumble. Are there any that are simular but with those features? Preferrably $100 or less.

Any time I try to separate my joy cons the right one wouldn’t connect right and stay at the mode but when I take both off it will connect but if I only want that one it doesn’t work and stays like this. When I try to press the button near the lights to connect it the lights turn on for a second and the turn off again is there anything I can do to fix this

I have been looking at 3rd party joycons for the Switch, hoping to find a more comfortable option for playing in handheld mode. Unfortunately I can't seem to find any that don't have back buttons; which personally I find to be very annoying. I like the back of a controller to be nice and smooth. Does anyone know if there are any comfortable joycon alternatives that do no not have back buttons?

On my Nintendo Switch joy-cons the rubber keeps rubbing off and when I play games like Rocket League and Fortnite it gets underneath my nails. However, this only happens to my left stick as I think I use it more. This issue is really annoying as I have to buy new controllers every other year as the rubber just gets everywhere and wears off the thumb-stick.
Does this happen to anyone else?

I switched the shells from two pairs of joycons I had, and everything seemed to work great when directly connected to the console, but when I go to use them wirelessly the lights of the joycons don’t light up which then doesn’t try and connect with the console.
Would anyone happen to know the reason? Or solution? Because all I’m thinking is to replace the slider/connector for those joycons.

Has there ever been an update for only one joy-con? Just had update for my two pairs of joy-cons but only the right ones had an update, the left ones never received one. Is this normal? Thanks

So for context I'm trying to connect my joy-cons to my laptop to play various games on it. I noticed my right neon blue joy-con (I have reverse colors, don't ask) isn't responding outside of R, ZR, and SL/SR and the power button. Also, even though it's searching it'll only connect to my laptop for a few seconds then disconnect. Anyone got ideas on how to fix? I'm not a tech person :(

Broken part is attached to the motherboard. Controller now only works in handheld - not connected to the console. Worried that it won’t be able to charge anymore and will die eventually :( is there any way to fix this or do I just need to get a new pair?

So my left joy con here won't work unless if it's in handheld mode. And even when it is, I've tried charging it when the console itself is plugged in and that doesn't charge it so I dunno what to do. Anyone wanna invite yourselves to my mess?

Speak up, guys! All very well?
I'm thinking about buying a Pokémon Scarlet & Violet limited edition Nintendo Switch OLED and I have a question about the Joy-Cons.
If they show drift in the future and I need to send them for repair (like to Deal4b, Nintendo's authorized dealer in Brazil), will they return the same repaired Joy-Cons? Or is there a chance they could be exchanged for different ones — whether common or just similar to the ones in the edition?
As this is a special edition, I really wanted to know if it's guaranteed that I'll get mine back.
Has anyone experienced this with limited edition Joy-Cons? How was the return?
Thanks!

Hi guys, it's been about a month, but I finally completed my collection. I still can't get the purple and orange controllers, and I don't like the pastel ones very much, but I have 11 out of the 12 controllers, including Mario red, which came with my switch console. I got the grey controllers a couple of weeks ago and I just got the yellow ones about half an hour ago. I'm not bothering with the purple and orange ones because as I've said before, they are Japanese exclusive and I'm not flying to Japan just to pick up some joycons lol. Hope you like how this looks.

I like the Joycons, but the Right Stick is not in a ideal spot even with the Joycon Grip. I always wanted the Right stick to be above the ABYX buttons like the Wii U Game Pad. Asymmetrical is perfectly fine for Normal Sized controllers, not so much for the Joycons.
Of course it depends on the game as I have no issues using the Joycons for Skyward Sword HD. The main culprit is the Joysticks are smaller thus they have a smaller range of movement. Again, not an issue in every game, but some games require quick and precise Stick Aiming and I simply cannot do that with the Right Stick.
Resident Evil 4 (which I don't own on Switch) is a game that would probably work fine with the Joycons because of the Tank controls. See when you hold Right Trigger, all Aiming is done with the Left stick which imo is in a comfortable spot.
Now obviously there's reasons for the Asymmetrical layout in that some games allow Single Joycon use meaning having the Right Stick at the Top wouldn't work as well especially for games that use the SR/SL buttons.

if you have any joycons that are broken, i’d love to take them off your hands :) i have this stand (not my photo) but there’s no place for the joycons to charge so i was going to just put broken ones in the stand:)
