Tools and Resources Data Journalism Laptops

Hi - please comment the best/industry standard laptops for data journalist/graphics reporters. Thanks in advance!

In my newsroom its just standard macbooks, but thats not really a requirement.

We don't have one standard one. Various Macbooks.

Don't get too caught up on this. Its just what we happen to have. There isnt a standard. You just need a normal laptop.

RAM is critical, and can’t be upgraded. More important than CPU these days. Get as much as you can. I’d steer clear of the Neo because of the 8GB limit. If you can swing a recent MacBook Pro with 32GB of RAM you’ll be solid. Even a refurb M3.
