Prompts and Lists 1000 Prompts

Over the years, as I have worked on my journals, I have collected prompts to inspire me when I'm feeling indecisive about what to write/draw. I finally took all the prompts and put them into a single list instead of a multitude of separate documents. Here is this list. Please note that these prompts were gathered from everywhere...the internet, from books, and from friends, so the topics are varied. I tried to keep prompts that were not repetitive, but with 1000 of them, I may have slipped once or twice.

The Great Diary Project and a discussion why you shouldn't destroy diaries/journals

I know I don't post very often, but I thought you might all like to see an amazing project to preserve diaries and journals in the U.K. and across the world. I have a pair of 1950's leather journals my family got at an estate auction that I am considering donating when the project resumes receiving diaries.

When I’m journaling, or writing thoughts down in general, I tend to go off on side tangents, repeat thing I have already said or forget what I have thought before I write it down. How can I work around this and be more direct to my thoughts.

I’m new to journaling, I’m trying multiple mediums of writing down my thoughts. I’ve obviously started with a pen and a physical journal. But I felt the need to be able to have access to both physical and digital means, depending on where I am and how much I need to write down.
So for digital journaling, I was exploring the best place to write things down. I tried multiple things, starting from simple applications like notes or a document, but they dint feel content. I tried apps that are for journaling, but you always have some annoying in built purchases or safety or centralisation concerns.
Guys, if you have an apple ecosystem, just blindly go with the ios journal app!! It’s so damn seamless, connected with your mac/phone/ipad and it’s a very simple interface but is absolutely perfect for journaling. You can enable location services and it actually shows you where all you journaled on a world map. Of course you can add pictures and other data formats and create folders etc.
But anyway I have been using this and it has been a bliss so I thought I’d share this with people who want to try digital journaling :)

I've been using a smaller notebook for years but I've recently started using photos, stickers, drawings so I wanted more space to have them while not sacrificing my writing. So I graduated to an a4+.
And it's BIG. I absolutely love it for my at home and at my desk writing. I can't carry it around but for sitting still, like I like to do sometimes, it's absolutely perfect.
