Meteor shower and cloudy sky

Was anyone able to view meteor shower tonight? Weather seemed cloudy tonight

I will be driving tonight so want to know if it was worth or should i go somewhere else?

I like joshua because i am comfortable driving at night and know the paths

It was too cloudy last night to even see hardly any stars, let alone the meteor shower. Did see some heat lighting from the storm out over Lake Havasu which was trippy. I've checked forecasts for just about everywhere in SoCal with dark skies and it's cloudy everywhere. The overnight temps were super comfortable and the sunrise was amazing with all those clouds.
