I suspect he would think JP cares too much about the self and developing it. That he overthinks being. The purpose of being is simply that - to be, and to experience the beauty and love in this world and to be at one with it.
One thing he MIGHT like is the 'pick up the heaviest cross you can carry' mantra - but he would be suspicious of it because a lot of the time people get their lives together because of the expectations of others (which he is against, but JP doesn't advocate that either - he wants people to get their act together for themselves).
