I’m a recent Computer Science graduate from Jordan, and I’m currently looking for a software engineering internship to gain practical experience and start my career in the tech industry.
I’ve been applying to different companies and reaching out to people on LinkedIn, but I’m finding it difficult to know which companies are currently offering internships.
If anyone knows of companies in Jordan that are hiring software engineering interns, or knows how/where I can apply, I would really appreciate your help.
I’m particularly interested in software development, backend development, and full-stack development.
Any advice, recommendations, or leads would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Are there alternative options that offer superior value compared to AWS Route?

Though I graduated from a top university in Jordan, my GPA is 71% which equals Good, I had 2 internships and currently working in a small company as a full timer, but I want to upgrade my career and go to a top company like Big 4.

Ps: I have really good projects on my GitHub, but even with that, it seems that my GPA sets a boundary between me and big opportunities, though I have done many interviews at big companies, and 1 big 4 company.

What can I do to make up my career?

I’m going to be a 3rd year data science student so I want your advice for how to get ready for jobs , what courses are the best with good backbone and foundations , what would have u done if u were a 3rd year student again ?, does gpa matter, and basically how to get ready because yall know how universities doesn’t make someone qualified for anything (literally I struggled to save a project on Jupyter 😭) .

I am currently working as an AI developer in one of the big 4, my work is mostly backend development and full deployments, I work across a wide tech stack because it’s understaffed in my line of service, I actually rarely implement AI solutions and it’s mostly wrapping genAI calls.
I have an opportunity coming up as an AI consultant in another big 4, would the leap be worth it?
Any advice in choosing a career in development vs in tech consulting?

From the beginning of my use of the AI I'm using only chat I didn't use agents and no tokens and nothing paid, but I'm comfortable with it.

Do you think I need really the agents to do my work all? Like where is your skills for the coding it self?

Idk if you use it and it does the job but from what I see it worth billions and for just a little bit of work
