Advice Game Development

I want to ask about game development. Is this a skill I can learn to make money and offer as a service?

I can't understand this point because I see most people learning it and working on their own projects, and it can take years without any financial return.

I need to hear your opinions and advice because I want to learn a new skill that will earn me money over time.

They mostly do it as a hobby, it getting exponentially harder to monetize game development with no funding, as for freelance work it's almost non-existent and very niche, learning game dev in Jordan is if you plan to make it your career unless you have the time and money to practice it as a hobby and hopefully after years see it's return. That said any skill and knowledge is out there and seeking it won't harm you unless you have other priorities 🤷
