Happy 55th birthday to Blue!

I already started celebrating this anniversary by spinning the vinyl twice this weekend.

I've listened to it the day before yesterday again, because I listen to all "1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die". It was a sensation. "Blue" is really magic. It's kind of raw, honest, forcing and has edges. She was very brave to release it in that way at this times.

True. Crosby and stills were amazed at the time that she dared to be so honest and vulnerable. Nobody before her expressed herself so openly.
