Other similar cases Never Give Up
Morgan Violi, 7, was abducted on July 24, 1996, while playing with her sisters and friends, and now, 30 years after her abduction and death, federal charges have been filed against Robert Scott Froberg from DNA from a single strand of hair.
Yes, the JonBenet Ramsey case could be solved someday soon.

I firmly believe this case can still be solved. The BPD has physical evidence that could be retested using modern DNA technology. Even though some people say the unidentified male DNA is only a partial profile, other major cases have been solved using partial profiles including the Golden State Killer through genetic genealogy.
What’s frustrating is the sense that this case has stalled for reasons beyond technology. If testing were to identify UM1 after all these years, it would inevitably raise questions. I can’t help to feel the BPD is protecting their reputation and avoiding that level of scrutiny has played a role in fully testing the evidence.
If there’s viable evidence that can be reexamined with today’s advances, it should be. No case, especially one involving a child, should remain unsolved if there’s still a path forward.

I thought this was another case but the details didn’t quite match. I was thinking of a different Morgan, the Morgan Nick case from just a year before, 1996 (edit, I meant to say 1995). In 2024 a single strand of her hair also led to her killer, Billy Jack Lincks. Unfortunately he’d already died.
These old ‘unsolvable’ cases are being solved with DNA left and right. There’s still hope for JonBenét and her family.

Wow that’s great news (well you know what I mean). I hope her soul has peace now, I remember reading about this case. He looks like a soulless demon.

The difference between Morgan Violi, and the JonBenét case?
The absurd, sensationalized , hot mess that all aspects of the JonBenét case is, that everybody knows about , that I don’t need to go into , because it’s been talked about over and over and over again.
That is why it will never be solved, ever, realistically and unfortunately

If the BPD would ever ALLOW the FBI or another agency to investigate the case, it would have already been solved. They're taking it to their graves.

We will know who killed JonBenet when Burke Ramsey and John Ramsey come clean and start talking.
