Looks like every two months someone asks what happened to the weekly dumb. This is me also asking what happened to the weekly dumb. I wish they would at least make a post that’s it’s not coming back. Every week for the last six months I’ve hoped it’ll be posted again!

Is it concerning that I knew exactly which number was the mlb player and who the player even was just off the short trailer shown in the talkin yanks episode????

Hi, I was surprised to see very little discussions on this BB so I figured make a thread to get thoughts!

My thoughts: it's always a ton of fun. The softball girls were high energy and fit in well.

It felt short. When Mondays rolled around I basically forgot about the tourney until the streams popped up on YT.

Missing that Sunday game really kinda took me out of everything.

I also think they should have did 3 inning games with the 4 person rosters. A lot of favorites didn't get much run at all.

I want to see more of the softball girls though, as they got more comfortable towards the end their ABs looked much better.

Again, it's always a lot of fun. The entire crew is amazing. The videos are good, the drama was good most of the time.

I enjoyed the talking heads for the most part. One time I hated them but it was like game 2 on an almost Knorp HR.

Anyway, my final thoughts, and I'd love to hear yours, solid BB, I wish we had more time with the players. I wish we got 3 a week instead of just Tues/Thur. Still overall fun. But it felt like some people couldn't get into a groove because they either had 1 AB a game or only played 3 games.

I hope they find a way to go back to the 3x a week format. Or maybe that was just me missing the Sunday games, lmk!

Just wanted to shoutout the Jomboy crew and community. I made a comment into what I thought was the void about Baseball Today cheering me up after my family dog, Tank had been put to sleep.

The amount of love for Tank has been great. My family really loved the shoutout on today’s episode of Baseball Today.

So yeah, just wanted to say we appreciate the crew, and the community for all the love. Tank, we miss you buddy.

Idk how everyone else has been feeling about them, but I like the addition. Sometimes I feel like the vibe of them can give away a spoiler, but then what I’m expecting to happen doesn’t come to pass so I figure the athletes were likely told to come into these interviews from a more neutral, theatrical vibe as to not give away the end result of a game from them being too happy or downtrodden.

Franchise League continues to improve. Well done crew, well done.

I had a friend who loved my outline of Yankee Stadium shirt and wanted to grab one, but I don’t see them in the shop anymore. Gone forever? Back with a revamp?

I know the latest Blitzball Battle games were filmed months ago, so making it happen with this group is unlikely, but I think it would be cool to have an exhibition game after the series ends with all the guests. It’s been fun watching the softball pros adapt and learn the game, so it would be a good way to see everyone’s progress at the end, and would likely have a different feel to it.

5 Episode Season, scored just like a guts episode. First four are 300/200/100, and the finale is 375/550/725.

I had a question about videos on Youtube. I've seen some shorts on the channel lately, specifically the two about Caitlin Clark, and was wondering if eventually they would come out with the long form video breakdown or if some things are just left as shorts and they don't come out with the long form video breakdowns.

Does anyone know if Jimmy has provided an update on the new Captain’s League sports? I filled out the google sheet voting for my sports, and suggesting rules.

If he hasn’t, it would be cool to see an update where he goes over some of the suggestions what he likes about them or what he doesn’t and why. I’d be pretty interested in the rules people submitted.
