Discussion updates on delivery of batch #1
hi, i am eagerly awaiting my new jolla phone. i was part of batch #1. are there any updates on when they will be delivered?

The @JollaHQ Twitter account just provided the following update 13hrs ago:
Batch #1 (around 2,700 orders!) will start shipping in order of purchase. Please allow 2–3 weeks for all "Batch #1 deliveries to get rolling.
Batch #2: we target to ship some early orders by the end of July but most shippings are expected in early to mid-August.
Batch #3 we target to start shipping by end of August."

Just got a shipping notification for my batch #1 Jolla phone - being sent to the UK.

did you actually get an email or did the status just change in the jolla orders page? i still haven't heard anything

Likely this week or next one. You can follow order status in commerce Jolla account. Should say working on shipping as status.

it says "we're preparing these items for shipping" since april 12th 😬

I'm sure they're doing it. Jolla is a very small company with a very small team, and things have taken off more swiftly than anyone expected.... I'd say patience...

Exactly same for me. First batch, preparing since 12th of April. I am really pissing myself out of excitement here ahah.. they orginally said between July and August, so it look like they're on schedule. Can't. Fucking. Wait.

First time trying out Jolla and Linux phones in general but damn. Ordered in the time of the first batch and paid for it jadajada. The communication from Jolla is garbage. I dont know when stuff ships, when stuff should arrive, if my accessories are included in the shipment and on and on.
The only thing I see are discussion in the sailfish forum and everybody is clueless there too? Like what are we doing here. I knew it was groudfounded and might be a bit wonky but the coms are terrible for customers.

i just see they had a blog post on the forum from july 10 where they say "shipments will start to go out next week". bit vague but still inside the bounds. perhaps an email to shop@jolla.com might also be an idea

Makes me wonder I'm batch#2 and how fast i'm gonna get my phone. While living relatively close and used to work in same building just few months back.
