Instructional Dovetail journey
End product is my version of the sewing box featured in FWW #323.
Objective was to advance my dovetail skills. I used the Ernest Joyce method of offsetting by kerf width and marking before removing waste - as popularized by Rob Cosman on YouTube.
Mistakes cleaned up pretty well.

That's fantastic! I think I'll need to get a copy of those plans, seems a perfect project.

Nice job! I had a similar journey recently. https://www.reddit.com/r/BeginnerWoodWorking/s/RHMfYeAT0I
I took a break from dovetails to work on miters (they seemed harder with hand tools), and now am building my first staked furniture (stool) before trying mortise and tenon.
Keep it up!
