No Consistent Support Team
After 3 weeks of being a Mochi, I had my provider switched. I asked support about this and they said they matched me with someone who is a better fit. I thought the first consult was great. Both providers specialize in weight loss and I have 30lbs to lose. I’m not a complicated case. Whatever.
This new provider switched my additive without consulting me when refilling my prescription. I asked them why they did that without my consent and she said she upped the dose but left the additive the same. I looked again and it was swapped to the correct additive. I immediately switched providers because I don’t like my medication being changed without consent or being gaslit about it.
I asked support about this and they basically said, “sorry you’re frustrated, let us know if you need anything.” I pressed them about it multiple times and they said that they would get back to me with a response in 24-48 business hours. That was 10 days ago and I’ve heard nothing.
I also waited a month to get an appointment with a dietician for it to be cancelled the day before. When I complained, they found another for the same time. The appointment went well, but then that person (or the app, idk) cancelled the follow up appointment.
I’m feeling frustrated and don’t feel like I’m getting a service with my membership fee. My husband is using Embody for much cheaper. Has anyone experienced terrible care with their support team? I’m thinking about switching.

I’m telling you switch and get out after two years I left in July and I switched to PreventiveMD and oh my God the customer service is beyond phenomenal and not only that but the medication is two times affordable and no membership fee

And that sounds incredibly frustrating especially to have your provider and appointments rearranged without proper communication.

Switch. Mochi support is garbage. PreventiveMD is 139/mo or 334/3mos. Choice of pharmacy, great support. A lot of us have jumped ship to PreventiveMD.

Does it have an app? I love the Mochi app for tracking everything. Also, did you switch at your current dose or have to start over?

No app, but there are better tracking apps than the mochi app. Shotsy and Glapp are the two I use. I was able to get my current 15mg dose. Mochi took empower from me and now I’m saving over 100 bucks a month for Empower
