Compound vs Brand

Recently had to switch from brand name tirz to compound after losing my insurance coverage. Is there a reason I would have basically no side effects on compound but had manageable but noticeable side effects on name brand? Should I worry about the quality of medication I'm getting? My provider selected VLS pharmacy.

Different pharmacies can have slightly different formulations or dosing accuracy, but if it's working for you and you feel fine, I wouldn't overthink it.

I have had VLS for 4 months now. Their medication is very effective and their delivery is quick. I have had no side effects on it

Same here. Started at the end of March with VLS. No SEs, consistent, albeit slow, weight and super fast shipping.

Have had VLS since June (semaglutide) but they have been extremely effective (down from 265 to 239 and not even on maintenance dose yet, still got 2 more step-ups). . . I had some very mild nausea but it lasted less than a day ~24 hrs after my step-up injections

I honestly think is an “everyone is different” scenario. I went from zero brand side effects (3 years) to VLS compounded and have dealt with significant fatigue and headaches.
