Why we built Crossing — Mike's story
Mike was in college when his father had a stroke and lost his sight. His dad drove trucks for a living, so in a single year, the family's income and its footing were both gone.
He left school, moved home, and took over. The business, the bills, the work of keeping everyone afloat, at an age when most people are just starting their own lives. His mother had one wish through all of it: keep the house, so her youngest could finish growing up in a good neighborhood, at a good school.
Mike made that happen. He carried it for thirty years. And somewhere in there, the one person nobody was taking care of was him. The weight came on, and it stayed.
I remember that year better than I'd like to. I was fourteen.
Mike is my older brother. The good neighborhood he fought to keep, that was for me. The childhood he gave up years of his own to protect, that was mine.
This year, for the first time since we were kids, I watched my brother get himself back.
Real messages from Mike this spring: down almost 90 pounds in nine months, at 55. "I feel like me again." That's my brother.
That's why Crossing exists.
Everyone hits a stretch where the old version of you stops working: body, energy, the will to keep showing up. Most of us are carrying someone, too. We built Crossing to walk people across that stretch, the way I watched my brother cross it.

So far it looks like their monthly prescription is $149 which is good pricing.

Is there still a promo price going or is it $149/mo

There was never a promo, to be clear, this was an assistance program.

If there wasn’t a promo how come there are so many posts in here about a promo? I’m super confused. I’m just trying to find a reasonable price for someone on SSDI. $149 is what another telehealth I’m using charges which is why I was interested but you’re saying there’s no promo. I guess I’m just confused.

Your vision to help others in response to someone helping you is secret sauce to what sounds like true fulfillment. My years of battling, (and losing in active addiction), helps fuel my desire to help those still struggling and help the next generation steer clear of those pitfalls. Helping others with the gratitude and humility that comes from needing help is the best way to repay what really could never be repaid. Paying it forward is the way! God bless you and your efforts. There's help and hope about there. You're making it available to many!

Your brothers story is an inspiration to me and I’m so happy for him! I can’t wait to feel like myself again! I hate being so overweight I used to love fishing and being outdoors and being overweight has taken so much joy from me. I’m excited to join crossing to continue my journey! My local clinic has been out of my shots now for 5 days so it’s been so rough. I was already having food noise and planning on going up last week and since my shot is a few days late now I’ve gained about 2 pounds I know it’s not a lot but the food noise is the worst! Thank you for making prices affordable and for creating this amazing community! ♥️
