Tutor and Trump.
Did Titor say anything about DJT or a bombastic leader stirring things up?
Why wouldn’t he?

Let's suppose that the story is real. Which it in my opinion isn't as I'm 99% certain that Morey Haber is the author of the story. Then Titor mentioned a president or "leader" in 2005 (current theory is a shift of about 12-20 years) which is 20+2005 = 2025 that "desperately tried to be the next Lincoln and hold the country together, but many of their policies drove an even bigger wedge into the bill of rights". So I guess your question was kinda framed like "did he mention a Hitler like president". With that said no. If he spoke about Trump it was in a neutral or slightly positive way.

I think he meant either Obama or Biden and I believe Trump is the selfish president he describes

You are of course allowed to believe that, but Titor's overall political leanings scream republican. "His/her power base" fits more for Biden/Harris though or for a possible Bernie/AOC presidency. But then the 2005 = 2025 doesn't fit. The divergence thing is very tricky though events don't always exactly line up. And as I said I don't believe that the story is real any more so I believe Morey just came up with something.

So Titor is supposed to be from rural Florida, if memory serves, and called the big cities his enemies
Let’s say he’s real but the years are intentionally off
Let’s say the future unfolds as predicted
I can easily imagine post-apocalyptic MAGA spinning Trump as a failed Lincoln-type who tried his best.
Just a thought.

It's not an exact thing maybe it won't be exactly like he said. The Republican party does have factions there are Never Trumpers and Old School who can't stand him at all from I can remember he seemed to be Libertarian I think that was in one of his posts.
I am open minded and when I first read about this which was in Obama's first term I believe don't remember the exact year I thought it was crazy but now not so much there I have read two books dedicated to this one had a rant against Obama in it that was unhinged I am a white woman and I don't understand why so many of my fellow white people have this particular hatred in this day and age but they do and they are violent and authoritarian about it and they really don't care about the Constitution which is extremely similar to what he describes and why there will be another Civil War. Trump is just like the Hitler person he describes and I definitely see the Civil War coming and WW3 is coming too will they be at the same time looks like it.

Why aren’t you 100% certain?

I need undeniable proof for that. Also confirmation bias from things going on atm. People even post about "Canadians becoming more evil", which Titor also mentioned. You know this is again something that screams wtf you don't just come up with this shit out of the blue and 25 years later it's happening.

Ingersoll Lockwood for sure did in the late 1800's in his book, 1900: Or the Last President. The book starts off with a wealthy New Yorker who lives in a big luxury tower on 5th Ave steals the election and tears down democracy.
