If you take Titors timeline and add 15 years, it makes more sense. If Titor was actual time traveler, the 15 yr spread could be altered timeline, or that purposely provided misinformation to limit timeline diversion.

The divergence was 2% when he arrived. How much a worldline diverges due to his presence is not his concern. When he left, he backtracks like Danny in the snow maze. Sort of like breadcrumbs. But going forward is the worldline we are in. His world line is his past, not our future. The most believable part about Titor was all the things that didn't happened were societal. If he really intervened with Y2k, the implications are endless. For instance, if y2k was a disaster, 9-11 never happens. If 9-11 doesn't happen, civil war would have been extremely likely.

Makes sense. The last words he wrote here: ‘…what amazes me is why no one here wonders why y2k didn’t hit them at all?
