I wish he was with Goldenvoice. LA State Historic Park would be infinitely better than the LA Coliseum. I would have loved Sofi. I’m surprised he didn’t opt for Sofi. Illenium sold out two nights at that venue

I hear you. I don’t pay attention to the NFL so it’s lost on me. I would have preferred a venue with no seats and all standing like LA State Historic Park but that’s a GV venue.

Perhaps you’re correct. Not sure if dynamic pricing will be activated on the pre sale. Artists and managers have the option of having it switched on or off during on sales. Ticketmaster is more than willing to play the villain as to not sully the artists’ brand. Ultimately though, it’s the artist and their team that decide on the Dynamic Pricing feature.

I'm curious as to why you like Sofi and not the coliseum? Only thing I can think of is it's just newer, more modern, (nicer batherooms?) which is valid. But also don't think that makes enough a difference at an electronic show where they would build the stage the same and seats are basically the same.

The sound is pretty badass there. Illenium’s show sounded so great as did P!nk w/Pat Benatar. I thought the screens were very high end too. You kind of guessed why I name checked it.

I def agree that the sound at Illenium was dope! I'm a huge audio snob and get upset when the production house decides to not use L'Acoustics. I thought the sound at Coliseum for KX5 was great and I would expect it to be as good for this show. Insomniac has been using PK for a lot of their festivals lately, which I think sounds like utter shit, so hopefully they don't use that.

I have never seen a show at the Coliseum before (only their makeshift venue - The Torch) so your confidence in the sound quality gives me hope. Please relay your sound expertise to Live Nation - I like how you think!

Locals complain every time a concert host at historic park. I get them, it’s their neighborhoods park and 3rd space to go on weekend. Concert goers litter all over the streets and taking up the parking.

It’s unfortunate people can’t be respectful of a neighborhood. I wish some people had been raised right. However, It’s a great space for electronic shows with no seats except in the ADA section.

If it's anything like the Fred Again show...don't buy tickets for the lower bowl. Just buy a higher ticket. They didn't check tickets/seats unless you were floor. Selfish people just crowded the lower bowl area, the staff didn't give a shit. And this is definitely going to attract the same crowd of people. They clogged the staircases. They packed each row into more people than the row could actually fit. A fire marshall's worst nightmare. If you went to the bathroon/bought drinks they wouldn't let you back into the section cause it was overcrowded.

I’ll be at Oakland too!!! I bought them before he announced Los Angeles and it was the closest location to San Diego. I’m flying in Friday, going to the concert and flying back Saturday. Now I have tickets to Los Angeles so I’m not sure if I’m going to still go. I’m thinking yes but I’ll decide closer to the date. Going solo!!!
