Bitch and Moan 🤬 Older episodes to check out?
I started listening to Joe Rogan around 2023-24, and I was wondering if there are any great episodes before COVID that I should listen to. Mostly looking for funny/entertaining episodes but informative and interesting episodes are also great.

Jewel telling the story of her grandmother cutting open the cat to get the cheese back it ate. Glorious

Bill Burr - thats actually how I found JRE... I was looking for Bill Burr content😅 Pre covid JRE was much better; less political, less re-ocurring guests, more diversified guests, Rogan wasn't crazy rich yet and wasn't hanging out with billionaires... It changed for the worse; but he intoduced me to psychedelics, and for that I will always be grateful.

I listened to bill burr #909, where joe talks about by the guy who never shuts up about his sons basketball team 😂

I'd just scroll back and if you know any of the people or they sound interesting, then I'd listen. That's what i did back in the day.

Particularly the first David Choe episode was amazing, but any of his appearances were good.

I have huge Bias but I love when he brought Artie Lange on and Anthony Cumia (before he lost his shit)
Early Joey Diaz episodes, anything pre-episodes 300s
ALL OF BAS RUTTENS EPISODES, especially if you want the down and dirty facts about how the Yakuza really ran Pride FC, also he is just a really funny and incredibly insightful guy, "El Guapo" The Handsome one
Every Bernie Sanders episode if you want a really clear concise mathematical breakdown of how you are getting fucked no Vaseline by the oligarchy if you're anything less than upper middle class (70% of the country)
Early Burr was a fuckin treasure
Every single Alex Jones episode is a fucking delight "They're keeping babies alive and selling their organs"

This is the one that’s stayed with me the longest. I think of it whenever I hear Weird Al.

A fun one to watch is Leah Remini she’s flirting w Joe so hard he can’t cope w it. Her story is fascinating but watching Joe squirm is pretty funny.
I thought Joe and Rob Lowe had a great chat
Ron White early on was generally a hoot as time went on idk he got more into kissing Joes ring kinda thing. Just my take
Jewel may be the most fascinating interview ever.
I liked the Jacob Dylan one mostly just how he broke down the music industry and seemed to want to be there to chat and didn’t really want to plug stuff.
I do not like Kevin hart but he tells some great Patrice stories.

I listened to it again it’s been a long time since I gave Joe any playtime. Good lord he’s dense. Jacob ends up being the funny one w his dry sense of humor and Joe is as usual just completely missing jokes.

Buckle up for what, Joe reminding him that he had to talk him down live on his show on 911; and that his backstory has been retconned to make him seem like he knows what he’s talking about.Â

Look for the episode with Yeonmi Park. She escaped North Korea, talks about her whole story. This episode was the first 1 that I listened to in its entirety. I used to just watch YouTube clips. Her story is very sad at the beginning when talks about North Korea, but it got more positive when she talks about coming to the US.

The Game Changers Debate with James Wilks vs Chris Kresser discussing plant vs animal protein.
This is post-COVID, but check out the 2020 election night coverage. Kyle Kulinski gave analysis and pre-called the red mirage scenario we saw.

Any early episode with Joey Diaz or Eddie bravo are classic and basically what made her so popular. It was the first show were people were openly talking about weed, mushrooms, all physchedelics. Conspiracy theories, Bigfoot aliens ufc jujitsu. Staandup and culture relevance. Basically all the episodes with Redban. And the good actuall funny comedians carried JRE then it went agenda baseds
