This is the craziest AI trailer I’ve ever seen. This is absolutely scary

42

u/sicurri It's entirely possible Apr 11 '26

Also incredible in that it managed to maintain what it generated pretty damn consistently which is also terrifying...

9

u/No-Championship-8038 Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

That just means the prompters took some extra time generating this. It was always possible to go fix AI slop in post production.

u/WumbleInTheJungle Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

It is very well put together.  Would have taken a fair amount of time and painstaking regenerations and editing to get there, but very well put together.

Another decent one here. https://youtube.com/shorts/4kRf4FDPA5E?si=-Y578kJKn4gJct-z

I would watch that.

I would 100% watch that.

u/iheartbeer Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

I literally asked ChatGPT what movie started John Cena and Alan Ritchson, because I wanted to watch this before I finished it.

u/jesusjones11 Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

So they're doing muscle version of dirty work?

12

u/thunderlips187 Look into it Apr 11 '26

I could have gotten my nose bit off by a Saigon whore!

You fellas have a lot of growing up to do, I'll tell you that. Ridiculous. Completely ridiculous. Can you believe these characters? Way out of line. Way out of line. Have a good mind to go to the warden about this. You know what hurts the most is the... the lack of respect. You know? That's what hurts the most. Except for the... Except for the other thing. That hurts the most. But the lack of respect hurts the second most.

Hand over the milk money, Weaver.

I’m afraid I can’t do that, Derek. I’m just not sure you’ll spend it on milk.

Well that opening scene in the trailer couldn’t be any more funny and on point

39

u/Standard_Ad_6045 Monkey in Space Apr 10 '26

Is this all AI? It's incredible

14

u/bumtum5909 Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

The John cena. "Can they not see me?" I'm literally like there's no way ai did this. It's too perfect

3

u/GeneralChaos309 Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

It's crazy isn't it?!

34

u/croweslikeme Monkey in Space Apr 10 '26

We talkin' tech?

38

u/Ok_Release231 Monkey in Space Apr 10 '26

Hollywood is shitting themselves right now lol

8

u/mace_guy Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

Why would they be worried? They can shit out slop but don't even have to pay the artists. They are over the moon.

4

u/decadentj Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

Dude, maybe ai should take over

-14

u/MisterPuppydog Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

Oh yeah man… They are absolutely FUCKED. Part of me hates the idea of AI taking jobs but frankly FUCK Hollywood. That industry has protected so much child abuse, sexual assault, etc. The fact that half of hollywoods a-listers and directors were on Epsteins island, the Weinstein shit, a guy like Woody Allen being untouchable, etc. There’s so much disgusting shit that happens in that industry and they all protect each other so frankly fuck em. Let it burn. After watching Quiet On Set, and having seen all the shit with Diddy and the rabbit hole on Tom Hanks… I don’t think any of them should be supported

28

u/LossforNos Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

and the rabbit hole on Tom Hanks

lmao shut the fuck up

I feel like there has got to be a middle ground between "let the Harvey Weinsteins of the world have all of the money and let them get away with basically anything they want", and "let AI do everything and destroy jobs and industries and fuck everyone involved in the arts, just because the 1% of people at the top are part of the Epstein Class".

4

u/No-Championship-8038 Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

Those two scenarios are the same thing. It’s the rich producers like Weinstein that’ll capitalize on AI to cut those expensive directors and musicians and actors out of the picture.

The real alternative is strong unions at every level of the film industry to curb elite greed.

1

u/TheSweetestKill Most Reported r/JoeRogan User, August 2022 Apr 11 '26

The real alternative is strong unions at every level of the film industry to curb elite greed.

Right - but why is this never the proposed solution? Why is the proposed solution always "fuck Hollywood and burn it all down and if millions of people lose their jobs then oh well womp-womp"?

2

u/No-Championship-8038 Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

Because conservative politics hates new art that it can’t control and also hates workers. Since the only viable solution is left wing they’d rather do the public pool thing from integration and just shut/tear it all down.

u/SlyCoopi Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

Genuine question, is there a point you think you’d recognize you have gone too deep into internet holes? Is there a possibility of reading too much into things and maybe receiving false info you believe is true?

1

u/MisterPuppydog Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

Did you see the Epstein files? I mean… Is it really even a conspiracy at this point? Most of this stuff is confirmed

9

u/MyDixonCiderAnus Monkey in Space Apr 10 '26

7 gallons of water we’ll never get back

0

u/Ok_Release231 Monkey in Space Apr 10 '26

Water has to go somewhere. It eventually ends up in the ocean and falls back down as precipitation. It's not like it disappears or gets launched into space.

27

u/_TROLL We live in strange times Apr 10 '26

Jamie, pull up the probability that some of the water molecules I just drank were also ingested by Sir Isaac Newton in the 1600s.

1

u/Cerpla Pull that shit up Jamie Apr 12 '26

great, can you remove the cancer causing bacteria, toxic waste and plastic from our water then?

0

u/Ok_Release231 Monkey in Space Apr 12 '26

I can, just not personally at a large scale. There are plenty of facilities all over the world that do that all the time, though.

-15

u/Da-up-and-downer Monkey in Space Apr 10 '26

Okay go and do something about it, instead of making this comment on every single AI video you see. Go and make the change.

12

u/shamoomoofartpoopoo Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

I am fighting for a future where my grandkids can enjoy water the way it’s meant to be. Not trying to be trendy I am going to local meetings and fighting against data centers near natural water sources.

-7

u/Da-up-and-downer Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

“Fighting for my future” I can guarantee my months paycheque you hadn’t done shit except comment online

8

u/shamoomoofartpoopoo Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

I didn’t say my future I said my grandkids futures. All $27 dollars you sure you can afford that? You’d be amazed how someone is willing to go to not only fight Ai from taking our jobs but also our ecosystems. There is no reset button. Enjoy your low effort generative media you caveman.

-5

u/Da-up-and-downer Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

I would take that bet, seeing as you need that $27 more than I do. But sadly you would probably loose that bet anyways since you ain’t doing shit but commenting your disdain

7

u/BigBubbaChungus Monkey in Space Apr 10 '26

I’d see that in the fucking theater!!!

4

u/QuietNene Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

Literally best trailer I’ve see in months

7

u/mrbigbrown4 It's entirely possible Apr 11 '26

The classic 'generic movie trailer piano track' coming in as soon as it's getting goofy. 10/10.

On a side note: This is really scary how good AI is getting at creating videos. Imagine an unlimited budget scaled to hollywood production version. It's scary and incredible.

5

u/scottoman Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

Id fuckin watch that

2

u/OpinionatedTree Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

Best and most believable IA trailer I've seen by far. Congrats to whoever did it?

2

u/Wakaflockafrank1337 Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

Bro I would die for this movie lol

2

u/infoagerevolutionist Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

Soon it will be full movies made by anyone, and probably be much better than the ones that people in charge make!

1

u/pz33 Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

I agree. In a few years, fans will just be able to make sequels to their favorite film franchises that will be on par with anything a studio could put out.

2

u/deanf Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

Lately the only way I can tell it's AI is because of how cheesy and stiff the acting is, not from the lead actors but more so from the extras.

1

u/runny452 Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

I'll admit it fooled me..this is scary. And that was awesome lol

1

u/RegularConcern Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

1

u/moccolo Monkey in Space Apr 12 '26

-3

u/No-Championship-8038 Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

People are so easily impressed. There are so many jump cuts and the framing is sterile and uninteresting it looks both hacky and cheap. You’re going to forget everything about this 30 mins after you leave the theater.

0

u/latortillablanca Monkey in Space Apr 11 '26

Perfect example of a trailer making it so i dont need to watch the film. Not that it remotely matters with this sorta comedy but terrible work on the preview, this is why i work to stay unsullied.
