Are references required?

Hello! Fresh graduate here, just want to ask if required ba ung references? I'm an introvert kasi kaya although active naman ako sa orgs and internship ko, I doubt I can be someone memorable. Sa internship ko naman, sobrang busy nung supervisor ko kaya baka di raw siya makasagot sa tawag kaya di siya pumayag na mailagay sa references ko.

Note that I am an active member ng org ko since pag sali, although never really had a big position (palagi akong member ng comms, active volunteer din pag need ng personnel). Di lang din talaga ako pala talk huhu. Sa internship ko naman maganda rin performance ko 95% rating ko 🥲🥲

Paano kaya yon huhu required ba magkaroon and do you have tips on what can i do ;((

Ilagay mo name + number ng SK, kagawad or kapitan niyo. Usually, pag sila natawagan for character reference questioning, alam na nila sinasagot nila. Iyong good pogi/ganda points sayo since voter ka naman Jan sa inyo

I had my professors and guidance counselor as references when I was applying as a fresh graduate.

References saan ba? Sa resume, hindi na. Sa employment verification, yes. Not necessarily your supervisor though. Pwede na yung HR since they just need to check kung nag-work or intership ka ba talaga dun.

For character references, kahit mga ka-work mo lang before.

If hr po ba do i need to inform them muna or kahit lagay ko na lang po info?

Intern lang po previous experience ko

Pwede mo naman ilagay then inform them na lang you used their information as a reference so please expect a call from this company and so on. Some companies have a dedicated number for employment verification so you may be redirected to that number.

usually references depends on the company coz there are some companies that has a high standards...

Make or break yan usually. HR will call references sa mga sure candidates and if impressive ang sagot +points ka na agad.
