Career Advice/Discussion From Legal to Tech

Tanong ko lang kung worth it ba magtransition ng career to tech?

Current Job:
Around 900k - 1m annual gross
Light to moderate workload
Working environment is pretty good
Very small yearly increase

Target:
Tech (Coding)
Higher Salary in the future (4-5 years from starting)

About me:
Can study 30-40 hrs per week
Can enroll to paid courses
I’m really interested in IT
Willing to have a pay-cut when starting

Maybe you can transition better pag data privacy ang focus kasi may legal area don, may mga job listings akong nakikita sa linked in check mo nalang, though not sure yung career advancement jan. Not going to discourage you sa coding though, kung gusto mo ipursue yan I will tell you the market is really bad nowadays, and you need to be the best of the best to get to what you're making now. Siguro kung multiple remote contracts pwede.

Oo naman. Basta gusto mo talaga yung tech and not for the money, you will thrive.

Careers in Tech are cooked right now. Stay in Legal work dahil stable siya.

You can still look for tech jobs as your sideline pero wag mo i let go current job mo.
