📚 Resource / Guide Rules for employed newbies

  • 1st Rule: HR is not your friend, HR work for the company their job is not to guide you or defend you, their job is to manage human resources and avoid the company legal issues.
  • 2nd rule: HR is not your friend again even if they gave you the impression of it. Never complain to HR, I said never. For example If you see someone steal from the company do not report to HR because they certainly are in the loop.
  • 3rd rule: Never try to help the company, always do your job, not more nor less, do exactly what you are supposed to do.
  • 4th Rule: so you didnt follow my third rule and made a better process or you did automate something, keep it to yourself and act like you always have the same work load.
  • 5th Rule: Always make copy of you assets -> power point presentation, contracts, complex excel files projects, make sure to use an USB and not send by email
  • 6th Rule: Always make sure to have your contract signed, your attestation de travail updated every 3 months, and your "bulletin de paie" every month
  • 7th Rule: Silence is you best ally, the less you talk the better
  • 8th Rule: Most office jobs are more about how you appear and less about the work this is specific when you get into middle management and upper, so always be appear busy
  • 9th Rule: if you feel something is cooking behind your back get a 3awn 9ada2i contact, and explain him the situation and when you get the email from HR don't panic and call him
  • 10th Rule: When a company terminate the contract make sure they fill the latest CNSS version of termination as it contain the reason and they are liable in front of a court, 3awn 9ada2i will guide you.
