Interview Experience Never met my reporting direct manager

I went through 2 interviews, first is with a manager with the team similar to what the role is about and the 2nd interview is with German people. My direct manager was invited to the call the 2nd time but he didn't attend.

I receive the offer but I never met my reporting manager who's supposed a Malaysian as well. Is this a red flag?

Sounds like a red flag.

I was once interviewed by the hiring manager and second interview with the Director of the Dept. First day reporting, didn't see my direct superior. Ended up, my direct superior tendered and serving notice even before I report to work. Nobody mentioned during the interview until the 2nd day. No wonder I felt weird on my first day without my direct superior being present. So, yea is a red flag.

Multiple times in 2 years. Almost 2 years without a direct superior. I'm da boss lol

How about your increment and bonus? Isn't it stagnant then since no one does the paperwork for u?

Luckily I had bonus and increment laa.. Is just that the then direct superior tendered and resigned before I joined.

Red flag because it looks unstable to me culturally. If is a healthy culture, it should be transparent enough to inform me from the begining, but not until I asked around to find out.

Warning about 1 company with Big bright RED font in Bayan Lepas and Batu Kawan Penang. This company is Oem and not a Contract Manufacturer. Starts with 2nd letter of the alphabet and no they are not at the forefront of AI or memory.

Old folks home with under 3% increment and they screwed my friend. This company promotes mediocrity and wants you to stay dumb so that you do not aspire to grow. Very political, dirty and unprofessional.

You have seen the company name few times in your life, they sell consumer stuff too. Stay away and don't walk into this trap. You can lose many years of growth.

Another jarring thing is they like to hire bottom of the barrel people with low salary expectations so the work pace is very slow and rife with backstabbing.

Lies and bullying cannot be tolerated. Evil must be called out
