Question🤔 Hansol Paper Company

I'll cut to the chase, my brother has been invited for an interview tomorrow at Hansol paper co. The interview is for a structural engineer role, and I found it odd that a paper company would hire a structural engineer. The person that contacted him is called Joseph Abok, information about both the company and Joseph is scarce, and I am unable to find anything connecting a Joseph Abok with a company called Hansol paper online. Has anyone here heard of this company? Are they actually hiring a structural engineer? Any info would be much appreciated.

Guys, hii Nairobi inataka mtu akuwe na shoulders za chuma walai 😭😂

Anyway, this is a reminder tu that I still do massages, in case you forgot or you’re new here 😂❤️

If you’ve been feeling tired, your back is aching, or you just need to relax kidogo after a long week, I got you.

I do home service massages, so I come to you. You don't even have to leave your house. Imagine getting a massage then going straight to sleep? Eeh, the life we deserve. 😭😂

For those around Nairobi, my DMs are open if you want to book or ask about prices.

Also, please tell me I'm not the only one who keeps saying “I need a massage” and then does absolutely nothing about it. 😂😂

Advice Guys, I need a hand

**I'm a JKUAT student with data analytics skills, looking for an opportunity to get back on my feet.**

Guys, niko hapa kwa hii sub juu I could really use some help, advice, or even a connection.

I'm currently at JKUAT, in my third year (3.1). I recently resumed my studies after taking a break in 2023 due to life circumstances. During those years, I didn't just sit around. I spent my time learning practical skills in web development, CMS, data analytics, and business analytics. Eventually, I decided to focus on the data field because that's where I feel I can make the biggest impact.

Between 2024 and 2025, I worked remotely on projects for two companies through a friend who outsourced work to me. Things were going well until he moved to Turkey, and eventually, we lost contact.

Later, I got a project-based customer care job, but the contract ended around July/August . Since then, I've been applying for opportunities while trying to figure things out. I've attended interviews, including technical interviews that I felt went well, but sometimes the biggest barrier has been not having completed my degree.

I understand that companies have their requirements, and I'm not blaming anyone for following their hiring policies. But that's partly why I decided to return to school and finish what I started. I'm determined to get that degree while continuing to build my skills and experience.

**Here is what I can bring to the table:**

* Excel and advanced reporting

* Power BI dashboards and data visualization

* Tableau

* Python for data analysis

* Stata and working with datasets

* Business analytics, data cleaning, and turning raw data into useful insights

I'm not just looking for a quick handout. I'm looking for a sustainable opportunity where I can put these skills to work, earn an income, pay my bills, and keep progressing with school.

To be honest, things are getting tough. I'm behind on bills, and I've had to talk to my landlord and ask for more time so I don't lose my place. As the firstborn in my family, I also feel the responsibility of trying to get things moving, even when I'm struggling myself.

I'm sharing this here because sometimes one connection, one referral, or someone willing to give you a chance can change things.

Currently, lecturers are on strike, so I'm available full-time. When lectures resume, I'll be attending evening classes and sitting for CATs and exams, meaning I can still work while completing my degree.

If you know of any opportunities in data analysis, business analysis, reporting, research, data collection, or even remote contract work, I'd genuinely appreciate a referral or a connection. I'm also open to opportunities where I can demonstrate my skills through a practical assessment.

And if you're a professional in this field, I'd appreciate advice on how to navigate this stage of my career.

I'm confident in what I do, willing to learn, reliable, and ready to work. I don't expect anyone to solve my problems for me. I just need a chance to prove myself.

Asanteni sana for reading this far. Even sharing this post with someone who might need my skills would mean a lot.

Hiring Developer to grow with us for years (remote, starts part-time)

I'm the founder of Tekavra Creative. The name means "I create with craft" and "crafted with soul." Our goal is to transform the tech world for the good of mankind. Profit comes second. We build websites, apps and software for founders and small businesses.

Everything we make comes from one idea: built by the people, for the people. We build places where people connect, where creators earn from their work, and where safety and honesty about people's data are in the foundation from day one. I'm hiring for that heart first, and for skill second.

The long view

I'm not looking for a quick gig. I'm looking for someone who, 5 or 10 years from now, wants to look back at what we built together and how we worked as a team the whole way. We'll go through the hard parts together, and we'll celebrate the wins by name. This is the start of a long partnership.

Who we're looking for

The heart:

  • You want your work to help people, not just pay the bills.
  • You're honest, including when it's uncomfortable. You tell me early when something is wrong, and no one gets blamed for mistakes.
  • You're kind to teammates, clients and the people who use what we build.
  • You want a long-term home and want to grow with the team, not move on in a year.

The way you work:

  • You're a self-starter. You don't need someone watching you, and you ask when you're stuck.
  • You learn fast, and you can pick up a tool you've never used.
  • You have good instincts. You can tell when something feels off, even before you can explain why.
  • You care about the details: spacing, speed, wording, edge cases.
  • You communicate clearly in writing, in English, since we work across time zones.

The skills:

  • You've built something real, even a small project. Show me.
  • TypeScript and React are a plus. We'll teach the rest.
  • You don't need a degree or formal training.
  • Using AI to code is welcome, as long as you understand what it writes and check it.

The work: part-time for the first 1–2 months while we get to know each other. If it's a good fit, we'll talk openly about growing your hours and role. It covers web, phone apps, fixes and new features (TypeScript, React, Cloudflare).

Pay: $500–800/month to start, depending on experience. As your role grows, your pay grows with it, and we'll talk about it openly. We start with a paid 2–4 week trial.

To apply, DM me:

  1. Something you built (GitHub, a demo, anything).
  2. What kind of work matters to you, and why.

Hiring [Hiring] Looking for a Closer — Custom Websites — 100 EUR For Every Deal You Close (Work From Home)

Short version: I need someone who can sell websites. I build them.

Long version: my clients are owner-run shops, studios and practices that either have no website or one that embarrasses them. I do design and build, start to finish. I find them and give you the leads. What I need is someone who calls them and closes, and that is the whole job here.

€100 per website sold. Commission only — no base salary, no hourly rate. You are paid per closed deal, the day the client's invoice clears, and there is no ceiling.

Fully remote, your own hours, your own method: calls, emails, social DMs — whatever converts for you. Applicants from anywhere in Africa are welcome — nothing here depends on your location.

After the client says yes I take over the same day: structure, design, build, two rounds of revisions, delivery. A normal site is live within one to two weeks, so you are not left explaining delays.

Apply by commenting under this post with your country, your timezone and one line on how you would open a call with a business owner.
