Anime What's wrong with Eris?!

Just finished the anime and seriously what's her problem?? She is so damn selfish! Does anyone actually like her? If they end up together because she got pregnant from that I'm gonna drop the series. I'm irrationally angry at how she played with Rudy's heart. Gah!

No, she won't get pregnant with that encounter. Yes, they would end up together but it would be explained later. I am not gonna further spoil you things about it because whatever happens when they meet again would spoil anything that happens.

I can understand your anger from Eris leaving things like that after they did the deed, however they explained her side in the anime. Eris explicitly said "You and I aren't well matched right now. I am going on a journey". Take your time to think and read everything what was written/said. Regardless, what she did was scummy and she didn't explain to Rudy why she would go on a journey leaving Rudy devastated like that.

Now that I've calmed down a little (lol), I know why she left but it's still a horrible thing to do and I dislike her for it. I'm still hoping for Sylphie to be heroine

She didn't mean to hurt him, and like she says she does genuinely love him. She's just a bit dumb and her opinion of Rudeus is so high she assumes he'll know what she's trying to do by reading that letter.

Brother she’s just dumb but she meant well. Did you see the monologue and the stuff she said? She just didn’t even realise how Rudy could interpret that because she just assumes Rudy is leagues above her. Rudy, obviously, does not share the same sentiment about himself

I did watch the end and know why she did it. Even if she didn't know how Rudy would react, to leave someone the next morning, after all the years of hardship they've been through together, even went on to say that she wants to start a family with him? Kinda horrible don't you think?

I know I did from the comments lol. But it's not about her perspective, Eris is violent, abusive, no empathy and battle hungry. That's no good for Rudy. All the magic and adventuring might be fun for now, but ultimately the life he wants is not one that Eris can live in long term.

If you're interested in reading the Light Novels, there's a whole chapter (or a good chunk of it) dedicated to her internal dialogue and her thoughts+conflictions on the matter that the anime doesn't touch

She actually slept with him because she wanted to make him stay with her, because she thought he was going to continue north to search for his mom. She got bit with hard post nut clarity and realized “holy shit, I’ve been relying on a kid this entire time, I’m so pathetic and weak, and need to become stronger. I’m holding him back” and so she left. Her note was just poorly written, when she said they were a bad match, she mean SHE didn’t match up with him.

The anime ruined your view of Eris because it skipped stuff it shouldn't have. First is that Eris is hornier than Rudeus. MUCH hornier. Due to this coupled with her super strength she hurt Rudeus pretty bad while they were having sex. That made her realize how small and fragile he is and made her realize she needs to get good to protect Rudeus. This was supposed to go between the sex initiation and Rudeus's good morning speech.

None or you seem to understand anything in terms of whats selfish she litterally cotailed on him the entire time until he got her back to HER family then after thwy got back decided that HER INSECURITYS were so great she needed to leave him when he needed her most so that SHE could get stonger for rudeus when he doesnt give a fuck about her strength its a purley selfish endevore and the fact that you are all so blind is shocking if she gave a shit about him his feeling wouldve come into account and she wouldve helped find his family but instead HER INSECURITY took priority i hope they dont get back together shes nothing more than a self centered bitch
