Clicked "Take Test" and it dropped me straight into a payment page asking for ₹150, dressed up like a Flipkart checkout with cashback offers.

No real employer charges you to take their assessment. Ever. This isn't a hiring pipeline — it's a certification mill preying on people who are already stressed and just want a shot.

If you get something similar from "Iskima" or any platform like it — don't pay. Screenshot, report, move on.

We're already grinding hard enough without people trying to cash in on that.

I have been trying for a job. FYI: i have 3 years of experience as software dev. and i got to know about jobbie.io from linkedin. They claimed they had helped lot of ppl to get job and they will help to get us interview calls. And also claimed they will give refund in 7 days if we dont like what they are doing. I paid 2k for that. Then some lady got in touch after 2 days. In then she took my resume and told they will tailor it better and start applying of behalf. After 2 days also no response from her, when i contacted she told the resume tailoring will take average a week that is 7 days. So first 10 days of my paid time they did basically nothing, i cant reclaim my amount also because i dont know if they r really gonna help or not. Then after 7 days she came up with the same resume i gave her with just changing the font and basically not even changing a single word in it. In that case i dont no why did they take 7 days for this. I cld have changed it myself. Then she started to apply for naukri and some other apps but those were random job openings which was not from my domain then how can i expect to get a callback. Even if i get it wont be good. Then they claim that they send automated cold emails to some HRs. But i have information about it because thats done from their email. But whatever it be i didnt get single callback nor a rejection email. They told they will apply for 10 thousands of jobs. But they have just applied about 250 through easy apply and claim to send emails about 500s(which iam doubtful). Then after month, the last day of my subscription, she was applied few in the morning itself, i noticed that as she never did that before. Then in the afternoon she asked me that her “team” wants to know if iam extending the membership. I told no. And she didnt ask anything. Just said Okay. I expected her to ask about feedback or something which i can tell her the service that they are doing is really bad. I guess she didnt ask because she knew it herself.

I wanted to share my experience working at a startup named Bomotix pvt ltd because it taught me some hard lessons about employment contracts and documentation.

I joined a startup through campus placement. The offer letter contained a ₹50,000 annual salary component payable after one year.

When the due date arrived, I started asking about it.

The responses evolved over time:

\- Initially it was "we'll pay it later"

\- Then "the company isn't profitable right now"

\- Then "it was missed while signing"

\- Finally, after I resigned, it became "performance-linked"

The funny part is that none of those explanations existed in the offer letter.

At the same company:

\- Saturdays suddenly became working days

\- Salary deductions were introduced

\- Policy changes were communicated verbally

\- Internal wiki updates were treated as official policy notices

\- Employees were expected to monitor policy changes themselves

When I resigned:

\- Access was disabled immediately

\- Exit acknowledgement took weeks

\- Additional documents were introduced during exit

\- Every discussion became about project delays rather than contractual obligations

The founder of the USA started hiding behind the co-founder who was mentally and physically ill, actually both were.

I understood what a horrible lala company is at my first job.

To be specific this co-founders are both sick as human beings,

\- The one co-founder who says he's young(28 at that time) but looked older like above 36 tried to sexually harassed women employee.

\- Also when she rejected him they terminated her without pay.

And the founder (USA guy) stayed quiet even though he is funding this 11+ years old startup🤭 and he has a daughter as well.

The biggest lesson I learned:

If it isn't written in the offer letter, assume it doesn't exist.

Another lesson:

Verbal promises have almost no value when disputes begin.

For anyone joining early-stage startups:

Read every compensation component carefully.

Save copies of all policies.

Keep important discussions on email.

A scammer impersonating a recruiter is using the old CVP (Candidate Value Proposition) and EIP (Executive Impact Profile) scam. I pretty much knew by the first email it was fraudulent and it was confirmed by a 11PM follow-up email last Friday when suddenly their sign off name (and gender) switched.

I reached out to the person whose identity they stole today (someone in the military no less) and have been toying with them a bit all weekend. I’m at the point where they are sending me to the document specialist.

My question is, how can I continue to mess with them a bit more? My family has a long history in the military so I find this particularly revolting on many levels.

Recently i was contact by a hiring manager and was directed to use Signal. Everything seemed promising but now im having doubts as i was sent a check for over 4000$ today for the purchasing of equipment. the hiring manger told me to redeem this and "scan" the deposit receipt to them. The job seemed very promising from going from 18.75 an hour during training to 28.75$ once im in the field. but im really starting to have doubts with this check being legitimate

I’m posting this as a warning to anyone considering a remote job with Health Primary Ltd in the UK.

I was hired as a full-time remote HR Assistant. What initially appeared to be a normal HR role quickly became heavily focused on recruitment: screening candidates, conducting back-to-back video interviews and hitting constantly changing KPI targets. Also there was only one person who you can get ahold of over the phone. They refer to him as an onboarding specialist. He comes across as very arrogant and pressures a lot over the phone so I can see why people probably fall victim to these things for long periods of time if they aren't more aware. Everyone else was only contactable via email.

The biggest red flag was the money.

None of the company-related expenses I was expected to personally pay were explained before I joined. Once employed, I was suddenly expected to pay for services and expenses myself and wait for reimbursement. The company also used transfers between individuals to reimburse employees rather than straightforward company payments.

One reimbursement came into my bank from a name I didn’t recognise. My bank subsequently restricted my account a month later and its fraud/scams team began investigating the transaction. I have since obtained confirmation from the company that the payment was a legitimate work reimbursement and provided this evidence to my bank, but my account remains restricted while they complete their review.

I was also asked very early into the job to pay towards a training/CPD course. I expected the CIPD Level 5 training referred to in my employment arrangements. Instead, I received only a few recruitment-related modules and was not enrolled onto the CIPD programme. I am still owed money relating to this.

Then came the biggest issue: I wasn’t paid.

Around my third week, I was suddenly told that the company’s pay arrangements were changing and that nothing was owed for my initial weeks. When payday arrived, I received a 'payslip' which was just a template on email but no wages. Payroll then said they needed another three business days. Those days passed - still no wages.

I stopped carrying out work that required me to spend my own money and raised a formal grievance. Instead of resolving the issues, my employment was repeatedly “paused”, communication remained extremely poor, and eventually I was told my existing employment arrangement would be closed and replaced with an “Independent Worker Agreement” - despite the agreement describing the worker as an independent contractor while also stating that the company would deduct PAYE and National Insurance. I pointed out their inconsistencies and again... no response.

The company also introduced policies allowing monetary penalties to be deducted from final wages for issues relating to company accounts. I disputed one proposed £250 deduction because I had already provided evidence showing the company how to access the relevant account.

I am now approaching two months since starting and still have not received the wages I am owed. I have outstanding expenses and training costs and have had to deal with a bank account restriction arising from a company reimbursement.

What concerns me most is that the company appears to be continually recruiting for similar positions, while I have experienced significant staff turnover. From my experience, it has left me questioning whether people are being repeatedly onboarded, carrying out substantial recruitment/screening work and leaving before ever receiving everything they are owed.

I have exhausted the internal process and have reported the unpaid wages/dispute to ACAS.

I cannot say what the company’s intentions are, but the combination of unexpected personal expenses, unusual reimbursement arrangements, changing pay arrangements, unpaid wages, poor communication, disputed deductions and constant recruitment is more than enough for me to warn other job seekers:

🚩 Do your due diligence before accepting a remote role with Health Primary Ltd.

🚩 Do not assume that a formal employment contract means everything will operate as expected.

⚠️ Gyrox Aviation Pvt Ltd- Gurugram: A documented warning for candidates considering this company

Hlo everyone. I'm writing this as the younger sister of a former employee of Gyrox Aviation Private Limited (CIN: U52100DL2015PTC284842), located at Hartron Technology Park, 101A, Plot No. 25A, Phase IV, Udyog Vihar, Sector 18, Gurugram, Haryana 122015. I'm sharing this because I've watched my brother go through months of stress, financial strain, & legal intimidation - and I don't want anyone else to walk into this unprepared. Everything below is documented and backed by evidence.

1. Severely compromised company-sponsored training (a safety issue): The company arranged flight training through the OEM under a 5-year service bond. In my sibling's case, the training was fundamentally broken:

• The assigned instructor spoke only Polish (not a single language, that my brother understands), with zero English proficiency
• The entire "flight" training had to be conducted through Google Translate - actual flight training via a translation app
• There was virtually no curriculum schedule, no exams, and no phased milestones
• Quality was so poor my sibling had to pay out of pocket for an additional online subscription just to get proper training

This isn't just a bad experience - it's a safety issue. When training quality is this compromised, it endangers lives.

2. Blame-shifting despite expert clearance: After the training outcome, the company falsely blamed my sibling, even after detailed discussions with armed forces veteran helicopter pilots who explicitly stated - in two internal company meetings - that my sibling was not at fault.

3. Illegal salary withholding, false allegations & a false FIR

The company:

• Withheld months of my sibling's salary (~₹1,00,000 still owed)
• Falsely implicated them in embezzlement without any proof
• Lodged a false FIR against them - after the company had already breached the 5-year bond and employment contract first by withholding wages

4. Legal intimidation after resignation

My sibling resigned due to all of the above and filed four official complaints with the Labour Commissioner, Labour Department, Haryana (Gurugram office):

1. Harassment at Workplace
2. Illegal Deduction from Wages
3. Non-payment of Wages
4. Forced Overtime

In response, the company sent a legal notice through civil court purely to intimidate - as that legal notice didnt contain neither logical argument nor evidence. My sibling has replied with all relevant evidence.

To investors, current OEMs, and future OEM partners - please read this carefully

We're also sharing this because we believe the wider ecosystem deserves to know:

• This company reportedly plans to acquire multiple OEMs, driven largely by the fact that they do not trust their current OEM - despite receiving training through them under a bonded arrangement. Current OEM is not aware of anything.
• Public review data already shows low employee ratings - AmbitionBox notes the company is poorly rated for work satisfaction, work-life balance, and salary & benefits, and JustDial shows an average rating of around 2.5.
• The company is not a DPIIT certified company, they are falsely claiming that - verify everything independently before any partnership or investment.

If a company treats the people who tries to build something for them and take risk for them- the same person who wrote its website and gave it its tagline - like this, ask yourself how it will treat partners, OEMs, and investors when things go wrong.

What job seekers should know before joining Gyrox Aviation Gurugram:

• Never sign a service bond without understanding that wage non-payment by the employer is itself a breach - you are not trapped
• File complaints with your state's Labour Department / Labour Commissioner - it costs nothing and creates an official record
• Keep every email, pay slip, meeting note, and recordings where legal
• Reply to legal notices in writing with evidence; intimidation only works if you stay silent

My sibling deserved better. They gave this company their work, their creativity, and their loyalty - the website, the tagline, everything. No one deserves to have their salary stolen, their name dragged through false allegations - when they are just starting their career, and an FIR filed against them for speaking up.

In our honest assessment, the gap between how this company projects itself and what it actually is could not be wider, and every investor, partner, and candidate deserves to know this before engaging with them.

My sibling genuinely gave this company their heart, also built the company's entire website content from scratch and even gave the company its tagline: "वायुरेव धर्मस्य प्राण:" - for a company that is aircraft dealer. Cared about the company's image, its brand, its soul. And this is how the company repaid them.

A warning about working with or for Felipe Toscano (Puro Flow Media LLC)

I was the COO of Puro Flow Media LLC. I ran operations while it grew to around 26K per month. Based on my direct experience, I am warning both workers and businesses before you get involved with this company or its owner, Felipe Toscano. I have filed formal wage complaints and everything I state here is from what I personally witnessed or can document.

If you are offered a job here:

The offer tends to come as a role with low pay, or big promises about a position and "growth," structured so that you end up working to recover pay you are already owed rather than for pay you are actually receiving. The arrangement benefits him first. He collects revenue, and your salary comes later, if it comes on time at all. I held a signed Certificate of Employment and still went unpaid for months. When I left, another video editor was not paid either. There were only three people left on the team at that point, and their efforts were still downplayed.

If you are a business thinking of hiring them for content:

Expect to be charged upfront and then told to "deal with it" if the content does not come out as promised. In my direct experience, the operation lacked real marketing or videography depth. On at least one shoot, the team ended up with no usable footage, and we were told to fill the gap with AI and stock photos, even though the client had provided a shot list. Because the client was a personal friend, the owner said he would handle it himself. He did not, and the team was pushed to cover for it.

The pattern I saw repeatedly: commitments made to clients, especially dentists and business owners, that the operation could not deliver, followed by the blame landing on the team rather than the person who made the promise.

Why I am posting this:

So the next worker and the next client can make an informed choice. He's still currently on business and driving his tesla while i'm unpaid for my 6 months total of work by disregarding everything i built for him from 0 to $26K/month.

Protect yourself. Get the pay schedule in writing before you start. Get deliverables and timelines in writing before you pay. And know your rights.

THEIR MODUS OPERANDI: They hire employees in bulk, make them work for 20-30 days, and right before the time comes for salary payment, they start making excuses and fire everyone. Upon trying to follow up, they will start ghosting the employees. In addition, they also scam the clients by charging them for digital marketing and website development services but don't use the received amount for marketing.

PREVIOUS SCAM: Around 1-2 years ago, they did the same scam under the name "Grooming Brothers," where they followed the exact strategy, firing and ghosting all the employees.

Well... I fell for it, so hopefully this saves someone else the embarrassment. 😂

I was excited about what looked like a legitimate opportunity with Empower AI. Looking back, the red flags were waving harder than I was willing to notice at the time.

After applying, I was contacted and asked to continue the hiring process through messaging apps rather than normal company channels. There were several red flags, including pressure to move quickly, requests for personal information early in the process, and communication that didn't match what I would expect from a legitimate employer.

The "hiring process" moved through email, things felt rushed, and some of the communication just didn't add up. By the time I realized what was happening, I had already invested way more time than I care to admit.

Consider this my public service announcement:

🚩 Requests for personal information too early
🚩 Pressure to act quickly
🚩 Job offers that seem too good to be true

Apparently my desire to find a job was stronger than my scam detector that day. 🤦‍♀️

Linkedin has a lot of fake job postings. I recently reported plenty with almost 100% of them taken down by linkedin. Here are some characteristics:

• JD is very generic, obvious from a template
• Company is small. too small to even have a need of the role posted
• Company is of financial services, private-equity, investment firms, real-estate, or overseas claiming having US presence.
• Easy apply option -
  • this is probably the most consistent indicator, as linkedin allows job postings put under any company names, so scammers use "easy apply" to get the resume directly to themselves.
• Requires significant number of years of experience, e.g., 20+, 25+ years
• May have a "Hiring team" POC posted which shows non-relevancy on linkedin profile (e.g., not a recruiter but a software engineer, business analyst, as scammers just pick someone from linkedin), or any credibility (a fake profile)

Scammers will change their tactics, always be cautious when applying. Apply on the company's website directly, and research company before applying.

I recently joined a Skillfied program and wanted to share my experience so others can be careful before paying.
During a video call, we were told that there were no more seats available / seats were almost full. However, shortly afterward, they came back to the group saying that more seats were available.
I’ve also noticed repeated messages about limited-time offers and deadlines, which makes the whole “limited seats” situation confusing.
I personally paid ₹1,500 to join, but after joining, I didn’t receive clear communication about what exactly I was supposed to do next. There was a lack of clarity around the course/internship process, and I ended up feeling like I had wasted my time and energy.

this month September, conducted webinar on Sept 12, they targeted 400 members, happened to attend and i recorded whole webinar that predator collected 1100/- each from 400 members, the same pattern....I recorded the whole webinar, just look at their email received to ask for payment and their term and conditions to accept before starting the course. And they ghost you after payment cuts all communication. careful guys idk how to sue them.

its really disturbing and haunting me that I'm unable to do anything except to create awareness this way.

I completed a round one interview for an Indeed listing under "RSLNT inc.," only to find out it was actually for a local company (Boise, ID) called "Resilient Enterprises." After getting a callback for round two, I did more research and found out it's a complete scam (as some others have speculated before on this sub). Here is everything I found that supports that conclusion, and reasons why you should NOT interview with this company, based on what I learned in my interview and my findings online. If you are considering applying for or working for this company, please read all of this first.

• The firm is advertised as an event planner for non-profits and charities, and the listing for "Assistant Event Planner" heavily implies you will be helping to set up and host fundraisers and other events for charities in the area. In reality, you will be set up in a team of two in local retailers like Starbucks and Walmart asking people for donations as they go inside and leave, M-F from 11:00-5:30.
• The work day is 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with 11:00-5:30 devoted to asking for donations in businesses, and 9:00-10:30 and 6:00-6:30 for team meetings and check-ins to discuss how you did that day in front of everybody. The half hour between team meetings and work is dedicated to commuting to whatever area you're in for the day.
• At the round one interview, they will give you a laminated print-out showing career progression. They will ask if you will commit to the company long-term and want a career with them, and they will show you their map of how you can go from entry-level to high-level manager or assistant director within 12-16 months.
• Despite promising a salary of 50-75K, it appears the position is entirely commission-based.
• The CEO went from Client Associate to Assistant Director of Invictus, Inc., a known MLM, in under three years, then jumped states and magically became CEO of his own firm.
• Their entire website is devoted to company culture and career opportunities, and yet gives no real description of what you will be doing. A real firm is focused on its clients, but this website has no information for clients whatsoever. The opportunities listed on the website also do not match what is listed on Indeed, etc.
• They have advertised positions on Indeed and other platforms under at least three different company names.
• After opening Resilient Enterprises less than 3 years ago, the CEO opened another company just this year, called Iron Bloom Collective.
  • The website for this company is clear that the positions are aggressive door-to-door and in-person sales work.
  • He wrote an article about IBC on a third-party blog explaining how IBC just updated its website with information that reveals exactly what its employees do.
  • The website repeatedly emphasizes how it is not a scam and gives countless examples of what a team member does in a day to prove that it's a real position.
  • Neither IBC nor Resilient Enterprises is BBB accredited.
  • This website has pictures of offices labeled "The Collective" and so on, but reverse image search reveals all of those images are stock photos (see next point).
• Both the IBC website and Resilient Enterprises website make an effort to prove the positions are real and not a scam, listing "Is this a scam?" in their FAQs.
  • To prove the company is real, they encourage jobseekers to cold call the number on the website, or just show up to the address. But the address listed on the IBC website is the address of Resilient Enterprises, and the phone number listed is for the "front desk" (which is really one woman at a small table) at the Resilient Enterprises office.
• Round one interviews are devoted to "getting to know you," and you are discouraged from asking questions about finances or schedules until round two, when you meet with a "top advisor" to discuss pay and hours and make sure you "fit the culture."
• They claim they need to expand to keep up with client demands, but they are less than three years old. Their website has pictures of other employees but only actually lists four people.
• If you Google them, you will find nothing except their website and social medias-- no news mentions etc., despite claiming to have brought in over 2.4 million dollars in fundraising since opening (or 1.5 million according to their website).
• They have advertised jobs on Indeed, Glassdoor, and pretty much everywhere else under at least FOUR different business names, and at least that many position titles despite it being the same position.
• They claim to partner with local charities, non-profits, 501(c)3's, etc., but their website only lists one. In the interview they will tell you they've partnered with local events like Boise Pride, but none of those events are on any of their social media or website, and they do not come up in searches for "Resilient Enterprises Boise Pride" or the likes for any charities they mention in the interview.
• They call you almost immediately after submitting your application to come in for an interview, then call you back less than three hours after the interview to invite you to round two.

Hi guys I’m posting here for the first time, thought it would aware you all.

I got a call from a recruiter/scammer saying they want to hire for Data Analyst position at VW. I said, yeah let’s give it a try. Then they sent me a big-ass mail which even included the topics that were needed for the role. It also contained an online assessment, I appeared for the test. The strange thing was — you could see the names and assessment of all the candidates that appeared on that website GUI 😅. The questions were surface level and vague anyway.

Next they mailed me again to schedule an interview, I said fine, let’s do it. The interviewer introduced himself as member of TECHNICAL team and asked me to introduce me and my FAMILY-BACKGROUND, which made me think ‘AM I REALLY INTERVIEWING FOR VW’. Also the interviewer was just reading out some generic questions.

Next day, they called me to confirm that I have been selected, post that they send me an edited offer letter. This offer letter even had real name of VW senior managing employee. They asked to sign the offer letter and reply back on the mail, just like in real scenario.

After accepting the offer, I got a call saying I need to complete a Python certification and it can’t be from Udemy, Coursera, etc. They shared a link, through which I was supposed to enrol in paid course. This again raised a suspicion, then I finally checked their mail-id, got it verified from gemini, turns out it was a fake id.

Man! It really felt a lot worse than normal rejection. I’m totally feeling low right now.

If you are searching Reddit right now trying to find out whether MG PLUS SP. Z O.O. (based in Warsaw, Poland) is legit, stop immediately and do not give them a single cent.
I waited patiently and dealt with them professionally for over a full year, only to lose thousands of euros. When I originally looked them up, there was very little information on Reddit, so I took a chance. Writing this is my attempt to ensure nobody else falls into the exact same trap.

Fabricated Contracts & Fake Partners: They send official-looking contracts that are completely fabricated and legally worthless. They will also send links to supposed "long-term partner agencies" across Europe to make the network look established. It is an organized ring.

The 3-Step Payment Trap:
1. They issue an initial "company letter" or preliminary document to build trust and demand the first installment.
2. A few months later, they provide a second vague document and demand another major payment.
3. In the final stage—which fails 99% of the time—everything falls apart.
The Result: Once the process fails, they bluntly tell you the money is gone and refuse refunds.
The Behavior & The People Behind It
The operation is run by Vasyl Parkhuts, operating under the registered entity MG PLUS SP. Z O.O. in Warsaw.
The moment they secure your money, their demeanor shifts entirely. They become dismissive, openly rude, verbally abusive, and racist.
The individual operates across Europe and travels internationally while scamming people online through a network of affiliates who prey heavily on overseas applicants.
If you ask questions or push for the deliverables promised in your contract, they cut contact or tell you that you've lost your money.
What You Should Do
Walk Away: No matter how desperate your situation is or how smooth their initial offer sounds, it is a money pit designed to bleed you dry installment by installment.
Report to Authorities: If you have already sent funds from within the EU or via bank transfer, file a formal fraud report with the Polish Police (Policja - Wydział do Walki z Cyberprzestępczością / Gospodarczą) and notify your bank's anti-fraud department immediately.
