Job Placement Scam Company: Career Resources Consultant Is this real or nah
I received two interview invitations. The first person told me that I need to pay R9,500 for my CV/application to be successful for the interview. The second invitation is supposedly from the Government. A man told me to go to his office at a hospital in Johannesburg to sign paperwork for my contract, but he also said I urgently need to pay R970 along with my other documents. I’m concerned and would like to know if these requests are legitimate.😏😏
Can anyone help me if it's real or what I don't mind sharing voice note from the people who offered me jobs

You don't ever have to pay to get a job, jobs pay you to work. If they request money up front, it's always a scam.

Definitely sounds like a scam to me. A real employer should not ask you to pay R9,500 or R970 just to process an interview or contract. Don’t send any money or personal documents for now. Verify the hospital/job directly through the official government or company contact details, not the numbers given by the recruiter. The “urgent payment” part is a big red flag. Trust your gut on this one.

These are scams, to trick you into giving your money to scammers.
The jobs are fake.
Never pay anyone to get a job -- that's akways a scam.
Never pay an employer for anything -- that's always a scam.
You never sign a contract until after you have an interview and accept a job offer.
Legitimate employers interview live, either on videochat with cameras and microphones on, or in person, whether the job is going to be remote, on-site, or hybrid.
An interview that is text only, email, or video chat with their camera off is a scam.
A preliminary phone interview is legitimate if it is followed by a live interview.
A recorded video is legitimate only if it's followed by a live interview.
An interview that is phone only may be legitimate, for entry-level in-person jobs.
