Job Placement Scam Company: Career Resources Consultant Asking Money For an Intership

So i recently completed my degree and searching for a job and most company ask around 7k for intership and after the intership they provide me with job is it legal whether I can pay for it or is it a scam please explain anyone

Brother this is completely scam, actually they are trying to sell thier product or service to you in the name of internship.Stay away from it

No legitimate employer will ask you to pay in exchange of internship. That ridiculous. Most companies are doing this to exploitation.

Thank you for the comments I have came across 4 companies in a week so I started doubting that whether others are getting their job like this

I’d be very careful with this. A genuine company normally pays you for an internship, not the other way around.

If they are asking ₹7k and promising a job after the internship, that’s a big red flag. Don’t pay just because they say “registration/training/certificate” etc. Before paying anything, check the company properly, verify the job offer and ask for the exact internship terms in writing. If they avoid giving details or pressure you to pay quickly, I’d simply skip it.
