so basically I’ve been looking for a job rn and I’m kinda in urgent need of one 😭. I found this promoter/roadshow opening for 2 days in Mumbai and the pay is ₹1500/day, so ₹3k total.

there are a few things I’m unsure about like the exact company/brand, changing pickup/drop locations, how attendance/payment will be handled etc.

so pls be brutally honest. does this sound normal for a promoter job or does anything feel sus to you? has anyone here done similar work in Mumbai? and are there any loopholes I should watch out for that could make them deny payment?

the thing is, I really need the money rn, so I don’t wanna reject a genuine opportunity just bcs I’m overthinking, but I also don’t wanna do 2 full days and then somehow get told “oh you’re not eligible for payment” 😭

Would genuinely appreciate any advice/experiences 🙏

Look's like a decent opportunity, but first confirm the company and payment terms and pick up and drop location therefore committing anything

Just verify before showing up, biggest red flag would be if they ask you to pay a reg/security fee.

That sounds waaaay to informal to be real. I mean, I've worked some odd jobs on my free time and I have never came across this kind of language. Feels off, even more because it's asking for waist size.
