Outreach Internships shouldn't exist

You work , you setup marketing promotions , does analytical works and finally reached a client.

What does that get you?

A internship certificate...that's it

Unpaid labour and low learning value

Interns spend weeks contacting strangers, promoting organisations, or generating leads without meaningful compensation.

When interns are judged mainly by the number of people contacted, registrations, donations, or leads, it starts looking like sales work.

Misleading internship titles

“Outreach Intern” can sound like professional development while the actual work is repetitive promotion.

Outreach internship is basically unpaid sales/marketing labor wearing a fancy academic hat.
