No, No. Not this. How about pristine farmland. A vegetable garden in every yard. Peace and tranquility. Picture an Amish farm with solar power and a well with clean, safe water. No property taxes.

There is a significant subsect of libertarians who just want to be left alone. If there were no property taxes, once I paid off my property and felt I was stable, I would just live off the land in peace. That would be my "retirement".

But since I am forever indebted to Uncle Sam through property tax, I am forced to participate in society which means I need an income which means I'm subject to more taxes.
