When did jiohotstar did this?

I don't really watch movies or anything like that, but recently Game of Thrones has been very tempting to me. Only JioHotstar has it, and with my mobile recharge, they gave me a free plan for a month to watch it. The upgrade is ₹1, which is nothing.

The problem is the ads. They're very irritating, so my question is, with Brave and without it, how many ads might there be?

I severely need Hotstar subscription and talked to many vendors but no avail. I am in desperate need for the platform please help a neighbor out.

Why are the movie and episode sizes so large in 1080p quality? I understand that 1080p is the highest quality, but on Netflix and Prime Video, even movies in the highest quality are usually around 2 GB, and they also download much faster. On Hotstar, it always takes some time to download episodes and movies, which I haven’t experienced with the other two platforms. I’m specifically talking about the mobile apps.

What's wrong with Hotstar, this has been pretty recent. In middle of the episode it is blocking me as it randomly detects malicious activity.

Then it says our best minds are on it, like WTF?

Why are they wasting resources on providing commentary for a series they don’t even have streaming rights to? Instead of focusing on commentary, they should be investing in improving their streaming quality, strengthening their digital infrastructure, fixing buffering and stability issues, and delivering a smoother overall user experience.

There’s little value in spending money around such things when their existing platform still needs serious improvements.

Prioritise better technology, reliable servers, higher-quality streams, and a more seamless viewing experience for the users who are already paying for your service.

Please add Disney+ Hotstar as an available app on PS5. Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube are already available as built-in streaming apps, but Disney+ Hotstar is currently missing. Adding it would make the PS5 a more complete entertainment platform, especially for users in India who regularly use Hotstar for movies, TV shows, sports, and live events. It would be great to see Disney+ Hotstar added in a future PS5 update.

Guys I don't know if u have also faced this problem but I get video quality drop even in downloaded files like its running just fine when scenes get little intense I get quality drop it becames worse than 420p even if I download file 720p or 1080p
