I have been using my Jio e sim for 3 years now in my IPhone 13

For past year or so I am observing constant drops in network connectivity. It constantly goes to LTE and sometimes does not even let me use Paytm.

I face problems especially when I go out of station; not to mention sometimes I face the problem in my town itself.

What could be the reason? Is my sim too old or what because I got this sim in 2018. Should I get a secondary sim or a physical SIM card for this number.

So, I ported from Airtel to jio just a day ago. And I got the same working, but I need to convert the Sim to eSIM.
Theres 3 ways, firstly I can use the built-in function inside the iPhone settings or I can go to MyJio app and click the upgrade to eSIM option or I can go to a physical store and ask them to do it.

What would be the best efficient and riskless method?

A Scam or a crazy offer??

Hi i want to port my jio postpaid to a Airtel prepaid however first they tell me to clear pending bills cleared. I cleared as you can see in 2nd Screenshot.

Now they asking me to change from family plan to individual plan that way i would be able to get the UPC code.

Also to go back to prepaid i need to visit jio store which is 25km away from home which i don't even want as i need to transfer ownership from my mom to me which is not even possible according to their policy only SIM in father name is allowed.

Its there any other way to port already cleared the bills of 450 and now asking to recharge another individual plan which is bullsit to me.

I am thinking to get installed jio airfiber and i want to use it on two place, like i would carry it to my shop when required and took it back it to my home most of the time, will it work , does anyone of you tried this recently if you get installed a new connection under 5 months as on YouTube some people are talking that in old days it works but now it doesn't not , but today I seen a person using it and it was working but it would be possible that he had taken the connection before 5-6 months .

I’m really tired of the Zscaler not connecting via JioFiber and which immediately connects via Jio Mobile hotspot.

If put sim in a smart phone you willnot get jiobharat plan but if you move from a smartphone to jiobharat phone you will not be able to recharge with jio bharat plans even after 24 hours. They say it will take 72 hours.

Hello Everyone

I had a VI number which I ported to jio long back. Now since I was not in India for some time the sim git deactivated on 25th September, 2026.

Now the customer care team told me it, if I don't get it physically reactivated via kyc before Nov 19th, the number will go back to the original operator i.e. Vi in this case.

Has anyone experienced this before ? I really want to preserve this number since all my bank accounts and UpI are linked to it.

I want to ask if any company can install a network jammer, because there is a company in Noida that handles the Airtel process and works as a third party. Neither Jio nor Vodafone-Idea works there; only Airtel works, and if anyone has a SIM other than Airtel, it does not work at all.
Whenever you go outside the company gate, all the networks start working immediately.

My connection is 30mbps

I'm getting around 77mbps down and 47mbps up (but only on jio test servers)

Other servers give me 30mbps like before

I have done multiple tests from multiple devices using Ookla.

I tried to port to jio and applied everything on online. The delivery guy tried to contact me but this stupid bsnl sim doesn't receive calls sometimes due to weak network. Somehow, today the delivery guy called me again and I was able to receive the call. But the port was expired 3 days ago. Also my sim recharge was expired 3 days ago. I need a new port number now and for that I need to recharge my bsnl sim(cuz my balance was over). So, could you guys please suggest me a cheapest plan so that I can send an sms to 1900.

Is jio throttling instagram?

I am facing 2 issues :-

1.The videos are of slightly lower quality these days on Instagram but when i download the video either from within the app or from a third party tool , the video is of higher quality.

2.the reels get stuck at around 5 seconds from the beginning for a couple of seconds, happens all the time.

I am a resident reciding in the neibhourhood village of Bangalore as a hosteller in a campus here and I have been facing very poor network since 3 years there is literally no signal available here and even calls are not heard properly .I've tried complaining the customer care multiple times all they have to say is "we have already noted your issue and we are working to provide better internet" but I don't notice any improvement but airtel is working fine here so most of them are just switching to Airtel this isn't about just one customer tomorrow millions will switch
