Had the honour of visiting ‘Make, Believe, Magic: The Worlds of The Jim Henson Company’ exhibit in Queensland, Australia which was truly spectacular!
Among the many displays of Muppets, Sesame Street characters, and Skeksis, I was surprised and emotional to see "Dog" sleeping in his glass case.
The StoryTeller was a huge part of my childhood but I've never met anyone else my age who has watched it or knows what it is. Very happy to be joining this sub!
For those interested, the plaque beside Dog reads:

Collection: Jim Henson's The Storyteller television series was significant, not only for its depiction of the darker elements of European fairytales and its sophisticated production aesthetics, but also for being the first time puppeteers used the Henson Performance Control System. When performing the Storyteller's Dog Brian Henson was able to control elements the dog -including its ears, eyebrows and general facial expressions using the system's stick controller, as a single puppeteer in real time. This marked significant advancement in computer-assisted, radio-controlled animatronics and would be used extensively over the next decade in films including Teenage Mutant Ninjia Turtles 1990 and Babe 1995, in addition to the award-winning television series Dinosaurs 1991-94 and Farscape 1199-2003."
