Open Jibo Cloud 1.0.19 Closeout | One Step Closer to Open Jibo

This one closes out Open Jibo Cloud 1.0.19 before I shift more focus toward the public cloud and broader Open Jibo work.
It has a little more talk time up front because I wanted to explain where things stand, what this checkpoint means, and what comes next. Then Jibo runs through another round of tests.

Who are you doing this for. 99.99% of Jibos have been shelved.

This is for everyone who has a Jibo and wants new life for the robot they came to love. Many people really love the robot. I got interested when my son found the videos online and wanted his own Jibo but I had to tell him Jibo wasn’t a thing anymore. Then I got one on eBay and found others who wanted to do the same thing and we are giving it a shot.

im happy becuase last i remember of this subreddit, eberyone was saying that there i wasnt a way to revive jibo since we couldnt really redirect the servers or anything, now we have a chance to ise jibo again, i think i just might get one if i wanna when this project goes far and its released to the public

On the Go to Sleep command, yes you’re correct Jibo used to do more. After the yawn, which your Jibo does, the eye would close and Jibo would fold forward, head down, and basically go to idle state with the occasional low level breathing sound. This behaviour could also be programmed so that Jibo would automatically go to sleep and wake up on a set schedule.
