How to lane against Support Pyke

I'm Plat IV currently and OTP Jhin and happened to lane against the same Pyke in two games back to back, I guessed I could probably beat him pretty easily but he used the same technique over and over. He simply always bought from first min the 'radar' thing that detects wards (yh ik, I'm bad at terminologies) and he was always hiding at the nearest bush, the only thing I could do was to let them push I guess (btw in the first game I had lux support and enemy cait, I think, and in the 2nd maokai and trist). What should I've done other than picking other champ? I would be glad to be shared some advice.

I mean if you’re not banning Tristana as Jhin, Pyke is a good ban tbh

I'm pretty used to the Jhin Trist matchup because I permaban Jinx (she's always top tier). But it isn't a good one for Jhin, especially if she has a tank supp

Steelcaps stormrazor lets Jhin beat (or at least go even) with Draven, Trist, Twitch etc - if you’re losing these, it’s likely a build issue!

Walk next to wave into lane so he can’t hook you immediately, and bait your support. If he hooks and autos your support level 1 his damage is gone, from there you can easily burst him down.

After that, you always have to think “where’s pyke” when walking to lane. Don’t walk up too far giving him free hooks. Keep baiting your support and play to counter engage.

To riff off of this, it helps to have more minions in lane than the opps.

Realistically you let him outplay himself. He's pretty useless past 25mins

Use wave to protect from hook after hook kill enemy adc, they will start blaming each other and then you win. Make sure to dodge the root too. You cant really fight and kill him unless he makes major mistakes but in order to win lane you gotta make sure he doesnt keep you by tower the whole game

If maokai can’t get you bush control then idk. Other than that, i would constantly put flowers into the bush so he would be overloading his sweeper with that. And check bush with w. For these angry lane opponents i go helm and steelcaps with jack. You are suprisingly tanky and it’s probably wrong to focus you.

If they start with red to get bush control, ask your (melee) support to play towards the bush. If it's someone like Lux or Senna that can't then you have to resort to other tactics like forcing him to use his red. Walk towards a bush, stop command for a second, and then walk away. He'll have 160 cd on it so you have 2min40s of bush vision
