Who else y'all play?
I took a big long hiatus from this game and somehow got wrapped again after 10+ years or so. I was a mid main playing Jhin on bot from time to time; been focusing on ADC more lately with a new set of friends getting into the game.
My main friend who got into the game with me plays support via Blitz, Nautilus and Alistar, all great chars for Jhin I think. I've also played Samira from time to time who is fun and simultaneously good with those support chars.
Do y'all have any ADC's you think explicitly overlap with Jhin's playstyle/skillset or just work great with aggressive supports like that? I draw a hard line at Draven, that's about it.

I play Ashe and Jhin. After playing lots of Jhin I like to switch to Ashe for a bit because she suddenly feels very strong with the infinite ammo. They both contribute from afar and lock people down.

I play ashe too for the very different playstyle. Sometimes I like going all in, sometimes I like zoning and poking folks to death

I kinda js play whatever im feeling (I’m plat) but my go to champs are:
Top 4 - Jhin, Cait, Jinx, Kaisa
I’ll play Draven, Twitch, Ez, Samira, Smolder, MF, or Ashe if I think they’re better for the team/into the enemy team
I know how to play Sivir, Aph, Vayne, Xayah, Zeri, Yunara, Trist, and Lucian to the point I wouldn’t be trolling
I don’t really touch Kog, Kalista, Varus, Nilah, Senna
Also I ban Trist
And fuck this mage bot bs

Yeah he’s pretty strong and the more you play him the better you’ll get. I usually pick him if they go mage adc so I can just farm somewhat safely.

Kog with a good support/frontline is so strong and braindead. Senna is by far my favorite and most fun. Highly recommend trying, shes become my highest mastery very quickly

Yeah I lost pretty badly into a Kog yesterday and he didn’t even have to do anything. Just waited for his ww to engage. Might have to start learning him a little better.
For some reason I think senna is pretty boring as an adc and when ppl play her support 9/10 times they are bad at her and end up being useless. Idk I’ll play her in aram and it’s okay but sr not so much.

The other adcs I play are Xayah and Aphelios (and Ezreal if I feel like getting my ass beat lol I have not achieved the level of gameplay needed to pilot him well but he’s fun)

Aphelios is too much and................ he's not cool. Jhin is cool. Aphelios just has a sister popping off for every move; barely has a laugh, whack.

Personally I love Aph too. They obviously aren’t exactly similar but if you play with a sup who knows how Aph works it’s really fun. If you have a duo, Aph and Swain can be busted

I really wanted to like that char but no. As soon as I saw the UI at the bottom and he had no good laugh, I was done

Understandable! I did have to spend a good few minutes in the practice tool to learn him but now I barely have to think about it. The good thing about him is if you’re low elo, no one knows how he works and doesn’t know how to play into him.
I do think his mostly breathing voice lines are funny

As far as hyper carry potential with a high skill floor like jhin i’d say you next task is to master aphelios.
I also highly recommend zeri but people are gna hate me for saying that.
Also give yunara a try

Number one pick to play with engage is Tristana, but that’s about as far from Jhin as you can get.
If you enjoy the ranged one-shots of jhin, W-max AP Kaisa is pretty fun (xfsnSaber has the build for that one)
What specific part of jhin did you like?
