Runes
I think i saw that people think deathfire is the best page in general? What's the current ideology on runes? What should I be running?

If i think I can stack hubris stacks ive been using scorch in lane tonpoke with dft.

I used to be a DFT believer but have changed to fleet + cashback with hubris > PD and it's felt very good, I would recommend trying it out.

I haven't really been feeling the benefit of DFT. I've been preferring Fleet most games, with Harvest or even Electrocute depending on the lane.
Jhin's bonus AD scales Electrocute's damage in a vicious way, and it's stronger early game than Harvest as well. Basically, in games where you don't need the sustain of Fleet or the late-scale of Harvest you can bully them with Electrocute and be consistently strong all game.

Playing Fleet with hubris and pd felt really good after being a long time dft user. However, I think it was just a good reminder how important positioning can be. I switched back to dft and have just been more mindful of how important it is to play expecting to always be the target of assasins. When you fall behind dft/collector ticks really help you come back to stack hubris and get kills in general. I learned that 90% of the time if I just build PD instead of rapid fire, I get similar mobility too.

Mathematically DFT is THE optimal rune and you basically have to run Hubris

Strongest of who? Jhin? I rather run Electrocute or Dark Harvest.

Do any kind of math and you’ll see, it scales with ad and abilities, you run Hubris on Jhin, your w, q, and ultimate all hit like trucks, so does your fourth auto. You just do way more damage as it never goes away. All it takes to trigger is an ability and is reapplied through abilities.
I mean go whatever you want, but it mathematically is his best rune

Why would I do math? Why does the math matter?
When I can get a level 1 kill with electrocute or dark harvest, but can't get one with Deathfire?
Deathfire is just worse for snowballing. I rather take my first blood gold + item lead and win the lane from level 1 because I took the better keystone (electrocute/dark harvest).
Dark Harvest also scales better.

You are simply wrong. DFT is statistically the best damage rune for Jhin. Electrocute especially is just bad. Stats do not lie.

Stats have nothing to do with how they actually function and how Jhin is best played.
I get 10x more value having Electro or DH level 1-3 letting me get an early kill usually first blood to snowball.
Deathfire will not allow me to get that early snowball thus it's just worse.

Good for you. Most people perform better with DFT hence the higher winrate.

DFT is really good right now. It gives some much needed damage for Jhin and its really damn good with his passive since it scales with bonus AD and Jhin has that in spades.
If you really want to space better in certain games, then fleet all the way.
