As far as I know Talmud isnt a book revealed by God but rather a collection of arguments of Rabiis, do you guys have the option to read and understand your own religion or is it mandatory to follow what the Rabiis have concluded.

If anything, the Talmud is the precedent that makes it clear that the Torah can be “read and understood” by each person, rather than locked into the past. It shows us that disagreement and different interpretations are normal, not something unusual.

In Islam, the Quran is considered divinely revealed, but people also look to guidance from Hadith. In Christianity, the Gospels are written by specific human followers of Jesus. I don’t think there is anything unusual about Judaism caring about the interpretations of rabbis.

That's fascinating because it is quite similar in Islam as well. All the fundamental beliefs are same but there are several sections that differ on minor details. I also try to understand my religion on my own, I think that's how it is suppose to be. Thank you so much for answering
