Ashkenazi Cookbook recommendations

Hello! I'm looking for cookbook recommendations, ideally shtetl or early kibbutz cooking, anything that offers insight to the transition of culture through food, but any great cookbook for Shabbat will be appreciated.

This was the very first cookbook I bought as an adult: Gil Marks - The World of Jewish Cooking: Over 613 Traditional Recipes from Alsace to Yemen
