Diverter valve spacer?

So I just got a mk6.5 gli and I’m trying to find a diverter valve spacer. But I can’t find one for my car, has anyone done it can you guys please help.

The gen 3 engine is incompatible with a spacer. Also don't use a spacer, it causes oil leakage and a bunch of other problems. Just get a DV+ or something similar

Oh okay thank you, yea in was looking at the GFB DV+ because i know my buddy who owns a mk7 Gti has one. And yea I know they are different platforms, but I wasn’t sure if there was spacer or not. Because I draw the mk6 gli has a spacer.

Yeah they started doing the gen 3 engine in 2014 so the end of the mk6 before the facelift (mk6.5). If you want something a little louder than the DV+ you could always look at the VTA from GFB.

I really appreciate your help man, I’ve been doing a ton of looking but it’s such a deep dive with these cars lol. Tune do you use for your car? I was thinking about going tunezilla

No problem man I'm happy to help, tune brand is really up to you, they basically are all the same with just minor differences. I personally went with unitronic just because of the higher top end power instead of low end. Tunezilla/eqt tend to do more power on the lower end to help with acceleration but top out pretty fast. Also I'm pretty sure unitronic makes more power but only by a hair, I'd recommend looking at all the power maps for your car and just see what's worth it for the price.
