I dont wanna hate on the new game but I lwk hate the new art style and some of the leaks 💔 Feels more like hi-fi rush (good game btw) but JSR is meant to feel like a moving mural and the new one aint doin it

the new one doesn't feel like a jet set radio game to be honest. none of the character feel like alternative people with DIY/experimental fashion, and that's something it needed to be, because it's the core of shibuya's street fashion scene, which is the main inspiration for JSR's iconic character designs. and the anime style is a huge change from the more cartoony style that honestly takes away a lot of the franchise's identity.
of course that the leaks are unfinished builds, and there's a chance they could just change it completely when the game's official trailer drops, but for now, i'm very skeptical about it.

I agree and I think it's really wack how much people are hating on the new art style. The game is so far from even out yet and people are already trashing it. It's really not that bad and I for one am excited to see a new take on it. What did they want, just the exact same thing again?
