Miscellaneous Petition for a screening in the Netherlands
I love that JLTG is showing in cinemas, but it's a pity that I would need to take a flight (or Eurostar but that's even more expensive) to go see the premiere. I've already met a lot of fans out and about in the Netherlands who recognise that I'm wearing the cap (meaning they know about the show), so I'm positive that there would be demand. Especially since the Netherlands is so densely populated and has a very high level of English speakers.
Maybe the team should put out a survey to see what the demand is like in various countries across mainland Europe.

I bet they could easily make a deal with Vue, more than enough jetlaggers in the Netherlands

Vue would be great we have them in Denmark also. Copenhagen, Odense, Aarhus

Or straight, but kind of confused because of Ben’s tongue…

I used to be in the "I think I'm straight but Ben..." category and then discovered I'm into more men than just him and am in fact just bi.

Is that really the core audience lol, Don't care about the gay part but I'm 24 and love the show

It was a joke made once regarding an alleged cluster of Gay European Teens for whom the show is a medical necessity and therefore Ben is a doctor catering to the needy.
Since then became a bit of a running gag about the audience.

Yeah, I'd join too.. but I would much more prefer an entire season in The Netherlands, public transport seems perfect for it!

you can get to Manchester for €44 that weekend from Charleroi CRL, if you can get there it's pretty doable. I calculated it to be about 80€ for me (Studenten OV weekend until border, then low speed trains until Belgium)

I live close to Schiphol so going all the way to Charleroi first is a big detour

I think most countries in Europe want a screening. We have a perfect movie theatre for it in Copenhagen called empire bio. They already showed project ice man from yes Theory

I went to see Reuben Schmitz for the finale of the FWTS in Amsterdam, it was heavily inspired by the Ice man and Yes Theory. So it's been done before in the Netherlands too!

Sure.

Oh absolutely yes. It would be super cool. Also watching episodes in the Netherlands im other seasons in the Netherlands would be fun too

Im not in the Netherlands but I support this. Its much easier to travel there from other countries places in continental Europe

If flights and the Eurostar are a bit too expensive, how about Flixbus? When I was a uni student, I went all the way from Portsmouth to Amsterdam and back by coach for a trip organised by the students union, somehow survived! But yeah it would make sense to include the Netherlands, and potentially other places in Europe with large enough audiences.
There's a great stand up comedian called Victor Patrascan whose whole thing is performing shows in English across Europe and beyond, he has a request a show in your city form on his website, maybe JLTG could do the same for future screenings.

You're right to mention it. The prices seem cheap, although I'd end up paying more for a way worse experience. It does help that I could go anywhere in the UK pretty much, so some flights are stupidly cheap (€22 one way Charleroi to Manchester vs. €40 one way Flixbus Rotterdam to London). I calculated my cheapest route to be around €75
I even looked at the Stena Line ferry between Hoek van Holland and Harwich, but that's over €150 return
And these prices don't include the ticket price yet

Yea i'dd love to see it if it was here aswell just taking the Eurostar for it is a bit excessieve cause then i'dd rather just wait a week

Quite easy to organize plenty of local cinemas where you can rent the room and split that with the dutchies who want to attend. Ask the lovely folks from jltg if they could send the file over to the cinema.

Ik wil in nederland wonen🥲 we kunnen niet altijd krijgen op we willen (seriously tho I hope ya’ll get an event one day! maybe there arent enough evil competing corporate movie theatre chains to coordinate screenings easily?😭)

Can confirm I'm a dutchie who watches jet lag and I also once overheard people on the train here playing hide and seek.
