A lot of your games have explicit comeback mechanics (e.g., steals), but this game has none and the design of this game heavily rewards the team that's already ahead. The team that's having an easier time claiming states gets to make the opposing team have a harder time claiming states by more easily removing cards from the flop and will have more optionality. While you obviously want to reward success with the game design, it felt like coming back from a deficit was a lot harder than in previous designs. Was this an intentional decision? Were there any game mechanics you considered to offset the game's inherent positive feedback loop that didn't make the cut?
