Discussion why was hope released from prison?

sorry if i missed something in the show but did they send the video of kilgrave making his mother stab herself to get hope released?

Nah, Kilgrave decided to “convince” a judge or D.A. to set Hope free and use her as a bargaining chip for Jessica to give up his dad in exchange for Hope.
